Chapter 20 (Well Lookie Here!)

Kagome's POV

"Where in the world is he!!!!" I screeched out into the wide open air.

Of course nobody replied, except for the birds and grasshoppers muttering behind the trees.

I sigh and lean against a tree for support.

I wanted to talk to Inuyasha, about Sakura. But I guess there was no point in waiting for that conversation to take place!

I rubbed tiredly at my throbbing temples.

It was frustrating, I didn't know what it was but it was like I was her guardian, and I needed to protect her! Make sure she was safe like I was her-

I couldn't even think of the word! It was so unrealistic that there was no chance to comprehend it!

I stay there in silence for a minute until my ears picked up on a rustling sound.

I stand up to hear more and that's when something grabs me from behind, smothering my mouth to muffle my screams.

Sakura's POV

"THIS IS SOOO EXCITING!" Betsy squeaked.

I rolled my eyes probably for the millionth time as we walked around finding our way in the forest.

"Are you sure the lake is near here?" I asked Inuyasha.

He shrugged, "It should be"

"Can't that nose do anything? Your a dog!"

"Hey! It's not my fault your stupid mirror took us to the wrong place!" He growled.

I groaned. That's all I wanted to hear after twirling in circles and feeling nauseated all at the same time!

Turns out, that weird portal makes you dizzy and spins you until it is almost unbearable and you want to vomit. Not only that but you end up in the wrong area! I'm surprised Betsy didn't complain.

As we walked along I could pick up voices from a far. My ears twitched to hear more but then I felt pain in them.

"Ouch! Would you quit doing that!!!" I sneered.

My best friend removed her hands innocently away from my dog ears, like a child who didn't know she should touch it.

"Sorry"

I moved away. All of this was just getting on my nerves.

I was so irritated on how our sleep over ended up. I hadn't been back in my world for so long that I was missing my room.

Then I finally get to take a break after all the fighting and killing of demons

i've been doing for the past couple of weeks.

Not only that! But it was good to see natural color again! Face it, I love the realness into our world than the anime. It is so detailed and precise.

But my break turned out to only last FOR A DAY!

I muttered under my breath and dropped the thought.

I glanced back at my friend. She was very different in the anime world, just like me. She had the usual brown hair with thick black glasses but her eyes were beautiful! They were as green as emeralds and sparkling like the gem. No freckles were shown and she had gotten just a tad bit taller.

I looked completely different from my usual self too, but that was because the details within my checks and shape at home was so different that it didn't even fit in the anime world. Even my dimples aren't shown here in this world! But still I guess I can't complain. At least there's an addition to it; Powers, Demon/half, Priestess; if I get it all down I could say I have too much!!!
