A Bargain

Chapter 15 (A Bargain)

Kohaku's POV

I gasp as I stand to observe around the area.

In the end she was right. He didn't see us . . . Or at least me.

Subconscious as of to what happened, I stumbled back into the woods in search for her.

I called out her name, "SAKURA! SAKURAAA!!!"

No reply ever came.

I lowered down to my knees in bewilderment. She was gone . . .

I touched behind my neck tenderly. All the memories were back, and I remembered everything.

I bolted up and started pacing.

Something happened for her to bring my memories back, but I don't know how she did it. Did she do something to bribe 'him' into returning them!?

I sigh frustratedly at the fact that I didn't know very much about Sakura.

I only knew that she met a white haired guy.

WAIT!

I stopped short, sorting out my thoughts,

Could it be that the white haired guy and the weird lady she was talking about be Inuyasha and Kagome!?

Now that I think about it, she was telling me about her scar and a weird crew she met with a boy dressed in purple and a girl in a mask ...dressed black and PINK!!!

SANGO!

I sprinted off into a run. This was news to me, the girl I met looked so identical to them that no wonder I was so fond of her from the start.

Still the idea of it was preposterous. How could she be identical to those two unless they . . .

I shook the thought violently out of my head. Everything will be revealed once I get there.

Inuyasha's POV

I strolled down the path till I reached the hut. I briskly went in and found Kagome sitting beside Kaede.

"Inuyasha." Kagome said while getting up.

"Kagome, can I talk to you for a sec."

I motioned her to come with me outside and she nodded.

It seemed like we haven't talked for ages because of all the crazy things that's been happening to us these days.

"How have you been?" I asked.

She looked down and nodded ever so slightly. "I'm fine, I know will find her it's just that I-"

I wrapped my arms around her suddenly, embracing her so much that I didn't want her to push me away.

Thankfully she didn't, but she muttered my name in a questionable response.

"Kagome. Don't ever scare me like that again!"

I put some space between us so that I could get a good look at her. She was slightly embarrassed.

"You running away like that . . . I was so frightened . . . Frightened because I was so weak from my wounds, that if I couldn't find you. I . . ."

The words were no longer making sense and so I dropped it and just caressed her, to stop the throbbing within my heart.

"I'm sorry Inuyasha. It won't happen again." She whispered and that made me feel like just a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulders.
