Chapter 13 (It's not over)

Inuyasha's POV

We have finally made it.

Of all the emotion that was bottled up inside me, started to reveal itself as I stormed into the palace without a moment of hesitation.

The scent of miasma hits me like a punch in the gut.

I covered my face with my cloak and continued on.

The others followed close behind me.

Finally past the poisonous chemical, we run down the hall.

I opened each slide door looking for any sign of the girls.

(Basically kicking the doors off!)

On the third door I see them.

Sakura with Kikyo and . . . Kagura?

"Sakura!" I called.

She moved her arms making her expressions visible for us to see.

It was the not expression I expected.

"Who are you?" She asked.

My heart skipped a beat.

"W-What did you just say?" I blurted out.

She stood up firmly crossing her arms.

"I asked who you are!" She replied.

I laughed nervously.

"It's me Inuyasha, your......friend." I said giving up on the greeting.

Just who or what was I to her anyway?

"I know you?" She asked blankly.

I nodded.

I looked at the girls behind her.

"You okay?" I asked.

They nodded as well.

I glanced around again and realized that Kagome wasn't here.

"Where's Kagome?" I asked.

She cocked her head to the side, confused.

"You mean that strange girl? Oh, was I supposed to get her to?" She added questionably.

"Huh, oh, um, yeah." I babbled, clearly not focused on the part where Sakura had just lost her MEMORY!!!

She bowed.

"I'm very sorry, I will go get her."

And that was it, she left without a second glance.

I stood there shocked.

It took me a moment to realize Kikyo was trying to catch my gaze.

"How long?" I asked.

She shook her head sadly.

"When I was taken, he took her memory." She said quietly.

I suddenly became very angry.

How dare he! You ruined me and Kikyo, you hurt Kagome, and now take Sakura's memories!?

"How can somebody be so cruel, he truly is a demon!"

"How very kind of you to say that."

I spun around at the sudden voice.

The group reacts and there is Naraku, looking as if he had always been there.

Watching us. . .
