Sleep over disaster!!!

Chapter 18 (Sleep Over Disaster!!!)

Sakura/Tiffany's POV

I pull the hand off me and turned to stare at the person.

There was Inuyasha looking like a white haired, tanned boy. Practically a human in a costume, except for the ears that stood out on his head.

That made me scream and Inuyasha had to cover my mouth again.

"Shh. Quiet girl! Do you know where Sakura is?" He yell-whispered.

I dug my fingernails into his hand and ripped it off my mouth. Then smacked him -with my pillow- upside the head.

"You idiot!" I sneered. "I'm Sakura!"

"T-T-Tiffany....what's going on!?"

I turned towards my friend who stared back and forth between us, confused and scared.

"Uh . . . Betsy . . . let me explain."

How was I going to now!? I couldn't say I went on a trip to a world of anime and met a cartoon character called Inuyasha!

Or could I?

I smacked my head without thinking and Betsy stared.

"Look, Betsy. This is gonna sound really weird but . . . the reason I haven't contacted you this summer was because I-"

I couldn't finish my sentence because I didn't know how to say it without making it look impossible!

"He-we-uh. I- I was!"

"If you can't explain I'm calling my parents."

She went to take out her phone but I put a hand up to protest.

"Wait!"

"yes?" She said.

I cleared my throat.

"One day I fell asleep dreaming about the anime called Inuyasha and ended up in that world for two days with these weird powers and finding out that I was actually there with everybody that I saw on my screen TV and started going on an adventure with them on the quest to find the shards and figure out why I was there!"

I realized afterwards that I had rapidly tried to explain things and rushed with every word that made it sound all mushy together.

"T-That's where I met Inuyasha." I added quietly.

I could sense Inuyasha waving a hello from behind.

She didn't believe me. That was clearly written on her face.

She stood up and was ready to leave the room. I had no intention of stopping her.

I was stunned though when Inuyasha blocked her from the door.

"She speaks the truth!" He exclaimed.

She -who was terrified- took a step back.

"Sakura has been gone for a while because she has been helping us out!" He said.

She shook her head violently that I thought she would pass out in that moment.

"I don't believe it, I can't believe it!" She shrieked.

I could hear my mother's footsteps heading upstairs in the direction towards my room.

"Tiffany? Betsy? Everything okay in there?"

I grabbed for Inuyasha and dragged him into my closet. Then I clasped my hand on Betsy's wrist and buried her against a pillow.

My mother opened the door and I raised my hand.
