Chapter 9

"Oh, w-what did Katelyn say?" I stutter. "Just some rubbish about how she thinks you like that Dan, fella." He said, rolling his eyes. I give out a nervous laugh. "But I didn't know you were learning how to play piano." Father said. "Oh, um yeah. While you were gone Dan's been teaching me a little bit. Don't worry, not during practice. We always did it in our spare time." I explain. "Oh, well if you're doing it in your spare time that's fine." I give out a sigh relief. "Maybe you could even play a piece at your wedding." Father smiled. "Oh, haha...yeah." I force a smile. "Now off with you! I need to talk to Doctor Burns a bit more." Father said, ushering me out. He closes the door behind me and I walk back to my room, forgetting why I had come down in the first place.

I wake up to the bit of sunlight peaking out from the window. But it wasn't my window. I slowly got up, and rubbed my eyes, sleepily. I was still at Dan's. I looked next to me, and couldnt help but smile. He looked so cute when he was asleep, he looked so kawaii! I carefully got out of bed, trying my best not to wake him. I started to pick up my clothes from the floor, and put them. "Are you sure you don't want to go for round two?" I turn to see Dan smirking at me. I roll my eyes and laugh. "C'mon Dan get dressed. We have to get there before my father does." I say, pulling my trousers on. "What if I don't want to?" Dan groaned. "Then we're screwed. Now, get up!" I laugh, pulling off the covers. I blush at the sight of his naked body. I had seen him naked just last night and the night before that, but now I could clearly see the body that I made love to and the hickey I had left on his collar bone. I quit staring and threw a shirt at him. "Get dressed. We leave in 5 minutes." I command. "I love it when you're in control." Dan says, in a sexy tone of voice. I blush and quickly leave the room to leave him in privacy. I wait outside for him. He comes out a few minutes later, sword in hand, and we sprint towards the castle. We sneak in through my room. I quickly grab my sword and we run off.

We just had barely started to fight, when father came in. "Wow, you two are really sweating! Now that's what I like to see! Proof of hard work!" Father said triumphantly. We smile at each other. "By the way, Dan, it seems as if you're walking with a limp." Father said. "Oh, um yes." Dan said, heating up. "My legs are just really sore from helping out around the town." Dan says, quickly. "How nice of you! Now, I'll leave you two alone to practice some more." Father says, pleased. I could only imagine the look on father's face if he knew I was the reason why Dan had a limp. "That was close." Dan says, in a hushed tone. "Yeah. By the way are you ok with practicing. Because of all that "work you did around the town"." I smirk. "Oh shut up! I'm fine! Lets practice." Dan says, blushing madly.
