I get back through the back door.
"Mimi?" I ask looking around. I then see her walking towards me.
"You're back did they enjoy the food?"
She asks taking the pan to the sink.
"Yeah! They were even looking at me after they were finished begging for more. It's really sad." I frowned. Mimi nodded in agreement.
"Where are the others?" I questioned when I noticed nobody else was here.
"Oh they've all gone to sleep. You should too, it's been a long night."
I didn't want to sleep. I bet I wouldn't even be able to.
"I'm alright for now, aren't you going to sleep?"
"Well, yeah, but Mimi don't go sleep without Mimi drinking her tea." She laughed. I chuckled too.
"Well can I join you?" I asked shrugging my shoulders. Mimi smiled.
"Well of course you can honey." We both made the tea and then sat in the living room.
"So Mimi, what's your story? How did you get here?" I asked sipping my tea.
"My story? Baby there aren't enough numbers on the clock for me to tell that." She laughed.
"Well, we have time." I smirked. She let out a large sigh.
"Fine you're a nosy one aren't you. Anyway, I am forty-nine and I have three beautiful children, Joshua, Ezekiel and my little girl Alexandra. Joshua and Ezekiel are nineteen and twenty. And Alexandra oh Alexandra" She starts to tear up. And I start to as well.
"Alexandra is fifteen. Fifteen. Younger than you and she's just lost her mother figure like that." She says clicking her fingers.
"She lives with her father. But lord knows what he's doing to her. Her fathers an evil man. Evil. But the law claims that even though they are over eighteen, Joshua and Ezekiel aren't fit enough to be her guardian. It's not fair. It's not-" No longer were tears streaming, this woman was balling her eyes out. I move closer to her and embrace her in my arms rocking her back and forth.
"I know, I know it's not fair." I whisper.
"Well, what's your story?" She sniffles.
"I live well, lived with my mother and my sister Tabitha. She means the world to me." I say clutching the necklace she had given me earlier.
"She gave this to me." I smiled showing her the silver necklace.
"Aww it has a little dolphin." She laughed. A dolphin? I hadn't really noticed that as the day she gave it to me my eyes were welled with tears so I couldn't study the necklace and it's been on my neck ever since.
"A dolphin? I didn't even realise." I chuckled.
"Hey, we should get some sleep. You go first I'll be up there soon okay?" She smiles. I nod my head realising that the tea had made me sleepy. I quietly creep up the stairs. Just as I am about to open the door to the slaves room, another door swings open beside me and I'm pulled in. He closes the door behind me and pins me on the wall.
"You think you can just say 'ugh I got to go' and just leave? No goodbye or anything?" He breathes.
"Please, sir just let me go." His face has a disgusted expression.
"Sir? No way. Don't call me that. It's Justin. Or 'daddy' for you." He smirks.
"Ew please stop it. Please let me go." I start to wiggle.
"No can do babe, tonight you're sleeping in my bed."a/n
