I stand there stunned as Mimi pulls me back. "We can't let her see us." She whispers. "But she, she, has a she's-" "Yes yes I know, I saw."
"I've got to tell Justin." I start. "No! Indika. Don't. Don't ruin this day for him. What will telling him do for you?" She asks.
"You've made it crystal clear that its over between you both so what more do you want? It's not your place to tell him." She says quietly.
She was right. It wasn't my place. It was between them two and I just wanted to interfere just to break them up.
Just to give him a reason to come back to me.
But Mimi was right. It wasn't my place. So all I could do was keep my mouth shut and
keep it moving nice and breezy.
"Anyway, Indika, go get dressed we've got to get to the wedding." Mimi smiles turning me around and pushing me slightly. I walk upstairs and go and get dressed.
I put on a red dress with pumps and put my hair into a nice plait. I needed to keep it simple. After all, it wasn't my wedding.
I walk back down stairs and see Mimi all dressed up. "Come on, let's go." She says leading me out. We set off walking and soon enough hear the sound of a car horn beep at us.
The car pulls up and it's Jaxon. He rolls down the window. "Need a ride?" He asks. I shake my head. "We're fine thanks the venue is nearby." I smile. He laughs.
"Oh really? Because google maps is telling me it's a half hour drive." He smirks. I roll my eyes. "Fine." I say opening the back door for Mimi who sits down. I begin to follow her in.
"What are you doing Indika? I want you to come and sit at the front here, right by me." He smiles patting the chair. "I've kept it nice and warm." He smirks. I hesitate slightly.
"Don't worry, I won't bite." He laughs. I close the door behind Mimi and go to the front as Jaxon starts to drive. "You look amazing." He smiles. "Thank you." I say quietly.
We arrive at the venue and Jaxon sneaks an arm around my waist as we walk in and take our seats. The ceremony soon enough begins.
It wasn't easy. It wasn't easy watching him up there. It wasn't easy to see him actually getting married to Shannon. Bearing in mind all her secrets and lies. It wasn't easy.
"Alright Justin, repeat after me." The priest says smiling at them both.
"I Justin drew Bieber."
"I Justin drew Bieber."
"Take you, Shannon Louise May."
"Take you Indika Lidia Adams."
The crowd gasp as I look down in embarrassment. No, Justin. No, Justin. This is not what we had agreed on. Shannon starts to boil with anger as she stares at me.
"Sorry, no, I didn't mean that! Sorry apologies let's do this again please." Justin begs. Shannon nods at the priest who starts again.
"I Justin Drew Bieber."
"I Justin Drew Bieber."
"Take you, Shannon Louise May."
"Take you Indika Lidia Adams. Fuck. You Indika Lidia Adams. Fuck. Take you Adams Lidia. Fuck. Take you Indika Shannon Louise. Shit. Take you-"
"Take you Shannon Louise may! Come on Justin get it together." I say standing up laughing slightly. Justin does too.
"I don't know why I can't say it." He chuckles. "Look, repeat after me, take you Justin Drew Bieber, damn sorry no, I mean, take you, Shannon Louise may." I laugh hysterically. Justin laughs with me as the whole crowd look at us as if we are crazy.
"Okay, one more time. Repeat after me, take you, Shannon Louise may."
"Take you Shannon Louise may." He says.
"Yes! Finally!" I clap and cheer. "Okay, sorry, continue." I laugh sitting back down again.
"Right so, just to confirm. You do take Shannon Louise may? Not Indika Lidia Adams?" The priest, who was rather confused by now attempts to confirm.
"I don't." Justin says. The crowd gasp again.
"I don't. I really don't. I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't. I don't!" He screams laughing slightly.
"I've had to live acting like I care for you Shannon. I've had to live acting like I love you when I really don't. That there, me just saying the wrong name, wasn't by accident." He admits. "It's the truth. I'm sorry, but, I don't want this." He says taking off the ring.
"I'm not in love with you Shannon it's about time I stop acting like I am. Before, I thought that if I couldn't be with the love of my life, I'd have to just settle with you, but I don't want that. I really don't."
"I've realised that, if Indika isn't ready to love me now, it doesn't mean I should force feelings for you but rather, it means I should just wait and wait and wait and wait until the day she feels for me what she felt before." He stares at me.
"And I don't care. Because she's worth the wait."
