Chapter 36

Soaking in the warm tub was exactly what their bodies needed. The whirring of the Jacuzzi jets was hypnotic. Ari laid back in Luca's arms and drifted in and out of consciousness. I felt Luca nuzzling my ear, what a sweet gesture and he asked if I was still with him. Barely, I responded, he laughed and continued to hold me. I heard Luca kind of groan as he shifted his weight in the tub. "Are you okay?" I asked concerned. He assured me he was and I asked if he wanted to get out yet and he said no but he was going to change positions to see if that would help. I moved away so he could stand up and stretch.
