Chapter 96 (The Constanti's home)

Antonio and Arabella's home was magnificent.  It was white and decorated so beautifully for Christmas.  It was a two story with white columns in the front and a huge swimming pool in the back.  I can see us spending our time here during the summer months.  Arabella meet us at the door and everyone hugged we were ushered in to the main living area.  This house was huge and right next to the fireplace was a festively decorated tree.  My mom and Luc came out to greet everyone and while that small commotion was going on I slipped out with my mom and Natalie.  The guest room that they were staying in had it's own bathroom.  I was beyond modest at this point and pulled my leggings down and peed on the stick, I wiped and then pulled my leggings back up and we waited.  I felt like everything was moving in slow motion when the timer on Natalie's phone finally went off.  I was so scared to look at it but when I finally went to the counter and stared at the stick the only thing I could say was "can you please go get Luca?"  My mom came and kissed me on the head and Natalie gave me a big hug.

Why did it seem like it was taking forever for him to come to me?  Finally I heard my mom tell him I was in the bathroom and I heard him pull on the handle.  "Are you okay?" he asked very concerned.  I just looked at him and patted the side of the garden tub for him to join me.  He walked over and took my hands in his.  I took a deep breath and started.  "We haven't ever really talked about children.  If you wanted them, if you did when did you want to start a family."  He didn't even think before he spoke.  "I most definitely want children and I want them with you.  I can't wait to start a family of our own Arienne.  Why are you asking me this?"  I looked up at him with tears streaming down my face and pulled the pregnancy test from behind me and showed it to him.  He looked at it and then looked at me and then said "two lines means...?"  I nodded and he jumped up and grabbed me and picked me up swinging me around and kissing me all at the same time.  "You're really pregnant?" he just couldn't believe it.  "Yes" I whispered.  "I was so scared you would be upset" I said sniffling.  "Oh honey" he said putting me down and taking my face into his hands.  "We made this beautiful baby" he said moving his hands to my belly.  "How could I be upset at something so beautiful?"  He kissed me so tenderly and led me over to the mirror at the vanity.  I stood in front of him as he lifted my sweater and put his hands on my stomach.  "Our baby is in here" he said in awe.  "I think I know how it happened to" I said.  He waited on my theory.  "I have always been on the pill to help with that time of the month but I didn't know that taking antibiotics could render it ineffective.  I had them twice; once in the hospital and then at home right after I was released.  That was about 4 weeks ago.  Monday we need to make an appointment so I can go get checked out.  Do we tell everyone today?" I asked him.  He told me that he really wanted to and I agreed.  I wasn't going to worry about miscarriage.  It just wouldn't happen.

We walked out of the guest bedroom and into the kitchen where everyone had gathered.  Arabella was pouring wine for everyone when Luca got everyone's attention.  "Merry Christmas everyone.  It has definitely been some kind of year, huh?  I'm so very happy to be here with everyone on today, of all days.  I'm reminded that today we celebrate Christ's birthday which helps me segue into my next statement...Ari and I are pregnant!"  You could have heard a pin drop and I got really scared for moment when Arabella screamed out and grabbed my mom and they were both crying.  Luc and Antonio slapped each other on the back and Paulo gave Luca a big brotherly hug.  Then I had everyone come at me with a group hug.  I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas.  We spent the whole day, evening and night at their house, got up early and drove back to the country house.

We got everything unloaded from the car and the guys brought it in and then we decided that we would all turn in and sleep in.  Luca and I walked hand and hand up the stairs and in to our room.  "Babe I think I'm going to take a shower" I said to Luca.  He grabbed my hand and pulled me to him.  "May I join you?" you asked softly.  Ari nodded yes.  He turned the water on and then looked at Ari standing in front of the mirror brushing out her long hair and he was continually reminded of how much he loved her.  He positioned himself behind her and she lifted her eyes to his and smiled.  She's going to make a beautiful mother Luca thought to himself.  He turned her around and pulled off her leggings and then her sweater leaving her in her bra and panties then he turned her back around to the mirror, splaying his large hand across her belly and lowered his lips to her neck.  She let out an appreciative moan as he left several open-mouthed kisses on her sensitive skin.  She loved how he felt against her body, the emotions that his touch illicited.  She had closed her eyes and leaned her head against his chest and he plied her with kisses; he whispered to her to open her eyes and watch in the mirror as he released the front opening clasp of her bra and full breasts tumbled out causing his erection to twitch at her back.  He threw the garment to the floor and tenderly held her breasts in his palms caressing them, touching them, wanting them; he then slid his hand down to her panties and caressed her sex through the damp material.  "Oh Luca I need you" she begged as he slid down her panties to the floor kissing her behind as she stepped out of them.  He took her by the hand and led her to their bed.
