Kelsey's P.O.V.
"Speak of the devil," Ashton started the moment I entered the house. I tried to smile at him - but, man! He looks worst than a dad! And I've never really knew my dad but I'm hoping he isn't like Ashton at all. "Where the goddamn world did you went?"
"Hello to you, too," I chuckled, rolling my eyes. I smiled at Luke who was standing by the kitchen door, holding a glass of water.
I passed Ashton, heading for the stairs.
"KELSEY!" He screamed.
I giggled, looking at him. "Ashes, chill or be chilled! I'm a grown up now! It wasn't Shawn's fault. I wasn't even with him."
"Then where and who?" He eyed me.
"I was with a friend," I said, more like a question, unsure if he'll buy it.
Well, he didn't.
"You don't have one," he said, raising his eyebrow.
I rolled my eyes. "Ouch! Thanks for pointing that out!"
"Truth hurts," he rolled his eyes.
"I was with Sam," I lied. At least that's someone they know.
"You smell like sex," Luke smirked.
"Yeah," I shrugged, hitting him playfully in the arm. (In case you missed out, the stairs is beside the kitchen door that's why she were able to hit Luke!) "I just had a girl to girl make out session with her. Happy?"
"Whatever you say," he chuckled, as I turned on my heel and headed to my room. I can feel my cheeks heating up in embarrassment and that's one thing I don't want the lads to see.
I took out a pair of black jeans and a crop top out of the closet once I got to my room and decided to take a shower.
What the hell did just happened? I thought. It should not have happened. And, damn, did he just said he loves me, too? I should be jumping in joy now but - that's it! We can't be together. Not only because of Alli - but also because of...
'Kelsey,' a familiar voice said.
I closed the shower, listening closely to whatever or whoever that might be inside the bathroom. Or outside cause I'm pretty sure I locked the door.
'Kelsey,' it repeated. This time its clearer. It's in my thoughts. Whoever is speaking is speaking to me thru thoughts. 'Meet me outside. I'll be waiting.'
Nothing has changed, I thought.
'I heard that,' it said again.
I laughed.
'I'll be right there, brother,' I thought, now addressing him.
