I don't know how long I slept, but I knew it had to be a few years because there were buildings and a park instead of a forest now, I raised my head up quickly. Sleeping for years makes you very tired and want to sleep more so I wouldn't be out of bird form for awhile, I saw kids walking around looking for eggs, they had found some and had them in their baskets.

I laid my head back down, curling back up on the branch and looking as if I was an egg again, I heard the kids coming nearer except I ignored them. As soon as a kids tried reaching to try and grab me thinking I was an egg, I rolled off the tree and landed on my side moving my wings to see the children staring at me.

"Since when did the Easter Bunny hide birds?" A boy asked.

"I don't think he did, maybe the bird is just tired," A girl said.

I kept watching them, holding my stick while laying my head back down.

"Im gonna take it back, its cold out and I don't want to be the one who didn't save it," Another boy said, picking me up.

I kept my small claws holding onto the stick as I was put into the basket with the eggs, I curled back up but kept and eye out observing everything.

"I gotta go home, see you later guys!" The boy holding the basket said, he started running.

I kept bouncing so I couldn't sleep, I looked over the edge of the basket to look at the boy, he was smiling and was heading towards a house. He opened the door and barged in.

"Mom! Im back! Come look at what I found!" He shouted.

"Alright!" A woman comes in with a little blonde haired girl.

The lady shrieked as she saw me, "Why did you bring that in here?"

"I thought it was a egg, but it turns out she was a bird, please can I at least keep her till she better?" The boy begged.

While they were talking the little blonde girl had walked over to the basket I was in, I looked at the girl with my little brown eyes. I chirped quietly and barely had enough strength to hop out of the basket, I landed on the little girl's shoulder and I laid down holding on with my claws to her shirt. She laughed and started stroking the feathers on my neck, the lady yelped seeing her daughter pet me.

I looked up at the lady and chirped, sort of like saying 'hi'. The boy came over and picked me up off his sister's shoulder, I was to weak to do anything but stay laying down. I kept my head up staring at him, I then looked at his mother who looked dumbfounded that a bird would willingly go into his hands.

"Fine, but only until she gets better, then you let her leave," The lady said.

"Yes! Thank you mom!" He said grabbing his basket and running upstairs.

It had been about a year and my strength was coming back, the boy had been talking to me as if I could understand him, which I could but he didn't know that. I started getting used to being around people again instead of just walking eggs, I had been made a little type of nest that the boy's sister couldn't get to in the top corner of the room.

I had learned his name and his sister's, turns out I was with a boy named Jamie who was always trying to see a Guardian, I wished I could talk to him but then he would think he was crazy. His little sister Sofie on the other hand, I could talk to her and all she would say is 'pretty birdie'. I would go almost anywhere with Jamie, when he went to play I came, when he went to a store I came, his mom wasn't happy about it though.

I always watched the moon at night, the kid across the street had lost a tooth and I waited to see if one of the tooth fairy's little humming fairies came, I saw one start towards the window. I flew at it and and it chirped in terror, I grabbed her in one of my wings landing on the window.

"Sh! Im not gonna hurt you, I'm not even supposed to be a bird!" I chirped at the little thing.

It seemed to almost faint from me talking, I shook it and flew into the room putting the tiny fairy by the pillow it went under and came out with a tooth. I nodded and flew out with it.

"May I come?" I said taking my stick and changing to one like her.

The little hummingbird fairy nodded and I followed it towards where the tooth fairy's place is, I was completely stunned from it, I changed into my red bird form again and followed. The other little fairies stared at me worriedly and scared, the one fairy I was following put the tooth in a container and led me to a lady that seemed to be part hummingbird. The thing chirped at her to get her attention, I sat there flapping my wings to stay aloft.

The lady looked at me confused and looked at her little copy.

"Why did you bring a bird in here?" She asked it.

"One thing is certain, I ain't no darn bird," I crowed.

She looked at me with wide eyes, "What?" She asked.

"I ain't no darn bird, I am an artist, I made myself to be like this," I said.

"Okay show me, oh!" She said and started talking very quickly to her copies.

I waited before swinging my stick around, making me change back but still having my wings to keep a flight in front of her.

She looked at me quite surprised, "What your name?" She asked excitedly.

"Creata," I said nodding.

"Mines Toothiana! But everyone calls me Tooth! And these are all Baby Tooth!" Se said gesturing to the little humming bird copies.

"What do you mean by, everyone?" I asked, a bit scared now.

"Oh, well me the Tooth Fairy, Santa who we call North, Sandman Sandy for short and the Easter Bunny, Bunnymund," She said breathlessly.

"They're all, real? I know Bunnymund is 'cause I was stuck in his place for years, and I know you're real, I thought they were just stories," I said.

"Nope, we-" She stopped and said more stuff to her Baby Tooths. "We are all real!" She said smiling a perfect smile, since she was the tooth fairy.

"I get that now," I said, seeing the sun begin to rise. "Uh, go to to go! Nice meeting you Tooth!"

"You too Creata!" She said and went back to work as I left.
