2nd year in Konoha High School

Part XXXV

Shikamaru

Temari and I were on our way out of school and she than told me astonishing news.

"W-wait you..." I uttered.

"Yeah Shika... my brothers and I are moving to Konoha so you don't have to worry about my long drive home." She explained.

"When will you guys move in?" I asked.

"This Friday. We're moving into a descent apartment." She let out a smile.

I gave a grin back as we were on our way to my house until she has a drive home. She than began to talk. "Shikamaru. The problem with this traveling is..."

I interrupted, "You don't have a place to stay as they are moving your stuff?"

She nodded.

"Well... I don't think it would be a bad thing if you and your brothers stay at my place." I told her as I looked up at the sky.

She than ran up in front of me and gave me a hug. "Thanks Shika."

I than embraced the hug. "I never knew you could get so excited like that. It scared me."

She giggled. "Sorry..."

We than continued to walk to my place.

Naruto

She began to cry right in front of me.

"So you are saying that he is the one that had Sasuke?" She continued tearing up.

I tried to brighten up the mood. "At least he is still alive."

"But he is with that freak!" She yelled.

"Sakura I-" I couldn't say another word.

Someone came up right behind Sakura and put her hand on her shoulder firmly. "Sakura. It will be alright. I've been there when Naruto was gone. We will get Sasuke back." Hinata sounded confident.

Sakura than turned to her, mascara dropping down her pale face. She looked miserable. She sniffed before talking. "You're right Hinata. We can get Sasuke back. I believe we all can do such a thing." She than began to smile.

Hinata

That smile... I know she is faking it. I know she doesn't want any of us to worry about her.

Once she turned around completely, giving me her fake smile, I just gave her a serious look. I probably looked angry in her point of view, but she has to let out her true feelings and stop hiding them.

Her unbelievable smile than turned into a frown as she than began to spurt out tears. I embraced her right away so she can clam down and as I gave her a friendly hug I whispered to Naruto, "I'll walk her home. I'll go to your place right after."

He than nodded at me as he than walked away, feeling concerned as I do for Sakura.

I than let go of our hug and looked at her in the eyes. "Let's bring you home."

She nodded. "But my parents-"

"Don't worry. Yes they will worry for you, but they will understand."

We than began to walk at her house.

Ino

As I was with Sai walking home from school I saw someone walking alone... sulking.

"Naruto?" I uttered as Sai look at the direction I was facing.

Since Sai can see the emotion Naruto is showing, he waved to him like nothing has happened to him when I knew there was something off.

Naruto came up to us, still looking like he was about to burst in tears. He waved very slowly.

"Where's Hinata?" Sai asked out of no where. But I was curious too. Usually Naruto walks with Hinata almost all the time.

Naruto than looked up and gave out a fake smile. "She is with Sakura right now."

This conversation is getting nowhere. I let go of my boyfriend's hand and used my hands as an expression when I asked him, "What the hell is wrong with you?! I know there is something wrong Naruto! Can you just spit it out!" I didn't mean to yell, but I guess I couldn't help it.

His fake grin than became serious. "I know where Sasuke is." He began to explain. "Today in my first class, I had a biology teacher. The same biology teacher who almost killed Sasuke and threatened me one time. His name is Orochimaru and he has Sasuke." He looked down on the ground. "I told Sakura everything since she knew something was strange since this guy is teaching here. She than got really upset and Hinata is taking care of her."

I was speechless at first, but I than looked at Sai and told him, "I'm sorry Sai... but I have to see-"

He just nodded. "You go help her out Ino." He than gave me a smile as I did too.

Naruto than looked up and as he did I began to walk away from the both of them. My walking than turned into running and before I knew it, I was already at Sakura's house.

Before I could ring the door bell, Hinata came out the door. It surprised me and I fell backwards. I than got up as she looked surprised.

"Ino? Are you okay?" She asked as she closed the door.

As I got up, I brushed off the dirt than got on me. "Yea I'm fine. How is Sakura? Naruto told me everything."

"She'll be fine. She is up in her room sleeping. Don't worry about her. She will be alright." Hinata explained.

I just nodded as we began walking.

Naruto

"Alright Sai. I'll see you later." I waved to him as I started to walk home.

I than heard Sai talking so I turned around and saw Ino was back. That was quick. Did she even see Sakura?

I just ignored it and began to walk away so I won't disturb the couple and right before I knew it, I felt someone poking my shoulder. I turned around once again and saw that it was Hinata.

"Hey." I faced her as she smiled. Right away we held each other's hands and began to walk to my place.

"Do you have any homework?" Hinata asked.

"Only that one stupid class." I rolled my eyes.

"Orochimaru said he will be switching us to a different class. I don't think you have to do that worksheet." She explained.

I nodded. "You're right. You gonna cook?" I asked as I was unlocking the door to go inside me apartment.

"Sure." She smiled. "I haven't cooked for you in a while haven't I?"

"Well we haven't had school in a while either." I giggled.

She than made a meal for us and we ate together until I brought her home.

"Bye Hinata." I gave her a peck on the lips.

She looked like she didn't want just a 'peck on the lips' so I leaned up to her and gave her a passionate kiss and she than let go. "I'll see you tomorrow Naruto." She than smiled as she went inside her place and I went back home.

I hope Sakura is doing okay.

Sakura

I finally woke up, got the remote, and turned on the television in my room.

"Tonight's report was a robbery in Konoha by a 15 year old boy here's a picture we caught on tape."

I dropped the remote as I looked at the picture.

"Sasuke?" I mumbled.
