2nd year in Konoha High School

Part XXXVI

Hinata

Today is Friday and for the past few days Sakura hasn't been at school. She won't even let me in her house. Her parents said they can handle it but I doubt that. She must have seen something.

Naruto and I have a new biology teacher. He isn't too bad. I think his name is Iruka... either way, Naruto actually has known him before so he is super easy on him which is a good thing so I don't have to help him with this subject as much.

Right now we are at lunch. Naruto and I always have the same lunch since I make for the two of us every morning before school. He always comes to my place to have breakfast every morning. Even on weekends! On the bright side he is life family to my father and Hinabi.

As all of us were eating lunch, of course Ino has to gossip up everything. But than she brought up a topic I would expect her to bring up.

"Yea. Did you guys hear that? Sasuke has been on the news and is known as a criminal." Ino stated.

Right as she said that, Naruto spitted out the food I made. "W-what!" He began to yell. "Stop it with your jokes Ino. Please tell me you are kidding."

Ino shook her head. "Sorry, but it's true. I've seen it myself last night. He has been doing tons of robberies for the past week and I've seen him on the news like crazy." Her voice was than serious.

Naruto than confessed what he heard. "Well Orochimaru, the new biology teacher, told me that he had Sasuke in his hands."

Everyone gasped. Kiba than complained, "When did you hear about this?!"

"The first day of school. He use to be my and Hinata's Sensei, but he switched us to have a different teacher." Naruto answered.

Everyone than was completely silent with all this news we are all hearing. I even wonder myself if Sakura knows that Sasuke is a criminal. She already knows about him being with Orochimaru.

A few seconds later the bell rang and we all went to our next classes.

After school I just went to Naruto's place like I always do after school to help him out with any school work.

As we were on the way to his place we saw Shikamaru with Temari, Garra, and Konkoro. They're all carrying bags. I wonder what they are doing.

Naruto and I went up to them and of course Naruto was curious too. He asked them, "What's with the bags."

Temari began to blush as Shikamaru gave Naruto an answer. "These 3 are moving in with me for a while until they get there new place here in Konoha. They're all going to be moving to Konoha soon."

Konkoro continue, "And we have no place to be as they are shipping all our stuff to one place to the other. So our only option was to be at a friend's house and we so picked it to be Shikamaru."

Garra nodded as Temari was still blushing. I guess Temari feels a little embarrassed living with her boyfriend.

Naruto than began to talk. "Well that's awesome that you guys will be living here soon. It's great that you guys don't have to drive back and forth town to town to get to school to home." Naruto than gave a smile as I did too.

We than said are goodbyes and went out separate ways.

Ino

"I'll see you later Sai." I said to him as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright. Bye Ino." We waved to each other and began to walk in different directions.

I was on my way to Sakura's house. Hopefully she will let me in. Hinata told me that she wasn't even allowed inside, but we all know that Sakura and I are super close.

I rang her doorbell. No answer. I know none of her parents are home just by looking at the absence of cars in the driveway. But Sakura has to be home. Her room light is on.

I was nervous to do this, but I had to... so opened the door and thankfully it was unlocked. I have never entered someone's house with out permission. So I sort of feel nervous by the fact I am in her living room.

But than I realized, I shouldn't be nervous. Sakura has to know I am here. I went upstairs to her room and knocked on the door.

"C'mon Sakura! It's Ino! I know you are in there!" I yelled.

There was no answer.

I knocked on the door louder. "Sakura! Answer the door!"

Still no answer.

I had no choice. I twisted the door knob, but sadly it was locked. So I went in my hair and got a bobby pin and keeps up my hair up and gingerly put it through the lock. Once I heard the click I opened the door and in my surprise I saw Sakura on the bed... with pills in her hand.

Did she just take drugs?! This can't be!

I went up to her and felt her face. She is freezing. I than checked her pulse. I than sighed in relief to know that she still has a pulse.

I went in my purse to get my phone and called 911. I told them her address and that she had taken some drugs. The lady on the phone told me the ambulance will be here shortly and I ended the call.

I than called Hinata right away to tell her the news.

Naruto

"Hinata! Your phone is ringing!" I yelled at her from the kitchen as she was making us a snack.

"Just answer it Naruto! I'm sorta busy." She told me.

I did what she said and answered the phone. I didn't check who it was so I mysteriously said, "Hello this is Naruto."

"Naruto? This is Ino. I need to talk to Hinata ASAP!" Ino said in a worried voice.

"Just tell me. She is busy."

She sighed in frustration. "Sakura is going to be at the hospital soon. I think she tried to commit suicide."

"What!? We'll be there right away!" I told her as I ended the call.

I ran into the kitchen and Hinata turned around. "Is everything okay-"

"We have to go! Sakura is in trouble!" I told her as I grabbed her hand and ran out the door.

"What happened?!" Hinata asked in a worried voice.

"I'll tell you once we get to the hospital." I told her as we were running there to see if Sakura is alright.
