Part XLII

All the rest of us went inside of Orochimaru's hideout very quietly. Shikamaru was ahead as I was right behind him. He wanted me to be as close as possible since I have my dog, Akamaru. My dog had a keen sense of smell so he can track Hinata easily.

Akamaru's reaction, I know he found her. But not Sasuke. We all just followed Akamaru and than found someone all tied up. It was too dark to know who it was. But by the way Akamaru is going up to this person, I know exactly who it is.

I began running up to the person and set her free from the chains and ropes that were on her. I weeped out her name with worry. "Hinata. Are you okay?"

She was completely calm. She didn't even show any emotions. I would expect her to cry out in worry for all of us at least. I just hope what is on her mind isn't that bad... I hope she is all right.

"Thank you Kiba." She said as she got up. But as she did, she fell down. I guess she has been trapped her this whole time and can't feel her legs by the position she was in. "Where's Naruto?" She calmly asked.

Even when she says Naruto's name, she has no emotion.

I just gave Hinata an answer. "He is out with Sakura and Sasuke's brother, Itachi. They're fighting Orochimaru."

Right after I said those words, Hinata than tried to get up once again. This time she successfully got on her two feet and started walking off. Before she could run any faster I grabbed her by the hand and asked, "Where are you going?"

She let go of my hand and looked at me with her eyes. "I'm going to where the others are. I have to save them from Sasuke."

"Wait Sasuke is there!?" I interrupted.

Hinata didn't give any reply. Instead, she began running to where Naruto, Sakura, and Itachi were. I just stand there, not knowing what to do until everyone else came up to me to wonder who that person was that was tied up in the dark.

Hinata

I began running faster and faster. It's been too long when I got up with my two feet like this, but I have to. Sasuke... he had become stronger than you could ever imagine. If someone got hurt, if Naruto got hurt, I don't know what I would do to myself.

Once I got outside the hideout, I saw Orochimaru on the ground. Than, I looked up and saw two faces that I haven't seen in a long time. I was about to cry just by seeing him, but the thought of it got out of my mind as I saw the two brothers glaring at each other.

I saw Naruto go up and stop what was about to happen. We all know if those two start to fight, everything around us will look different. The landscape and our feelings. The same goes for Naruto and Sasuke. I know they were good friends in the past, but by the attitude that Sasuke has now. I'll just have to stop the outcome before anything reckless happens.

But it was too late. As I saw Naruto get between Sasuke and Itachi, Sasuke clutched his fist and was about to his hit Naruto vigorously. I couldn't run fast enough to stop what was about to happened. I froze and closed my eyes. I couldn't bare to watch.

Once I thought it was over, I opened my eyes and saw Naruto's hand grasping Sasuke's. They are evenly matched. But how? When I was trying to save Naruto back then from the Akatsuki, he didn't have any reflex on anything. Now he can hold a punch from Sasuke?

My jaw dropped just by the look at it, but it wasn't over. I couldn't hear, but Naruto said something to Sasuke before he punched his gut. I just flinched by what I just saw. I know Sasuke is a bad person and that Naruto really wants to take him out of the darkness, but I can't believe he would do that! It's not like him. I was just paralyzed by the fact that they were about to fight. Than before I knew it, I plopped to the ground since I am still too weak to even stand. The last thing I saw was Sakura coming closer to me.

I closed my eyes... everything went black.

Naruto
(Moments before)

Itachi and Sasuke were glaring at each other. I can't bare the thought of these two starting a fight. Sasuke would get demolished.

So no violence would happened between them, I went up and block their view from each other. Which was a bad mistake since I saw Sasuke's left hand forming a fist and was about to hit me. But before if could, I stopped it right away. I blocked it and said to him, "You can't do this Sasuke. Not to your brother, not to your friends, not to Sakura, not to me, and..." I hesitated, "Not to Hinata." I than rushed my hand to form a fist and punched him right in the stomach.

Sasuke reflected to it and fell down to the ground, but I know it is not over.

I saw Sakura running away, probably finding the others as Itachi just vanished out of no where. Orochimaru was gone to. It's like they disappeared.

It was only Sasuke and I. As I saw him get up from the ground I put my guard up and was prepared for a fight.

I know that wasn't his real punch. I knew he just took in my punch. He just held it in for her. But now that she is gone, I know this is going to be a challenge.

Once he was completely up, I began to question him. "Why are you doing this? Why did you kidnap Hinata? Why are you with that jerk, Orochimaru?"

I only heard one word out of his mouth, nothing more. "Revenge."

Sasuke

"Revenge." Was all I needed to say as I ran up to him and punched right back, perfectly aimed for his stomach.

Blood was coming out of his mouth as I saw he went right into the ground. I know what he is thinking and why he thought I was weak, but he is wrong. All I was doing was acting weak so he would let his guard down. I am way more powerful than before, but I need to be patient because I know I am not as powerful as Itachi yet. No where near.

It took me hours and hours to put Orochimaru to the ground when we were training, but it only too Itachi a simple minute. I know he had Sakura and Naruto, but they were just supporting him. I just know that is it by the look and all three of their eyes when I came out her.

Naruto is the most pathetic out of all...
