Part XXXVII

Sakura

I only had two visitors since the nurse only allowed a few in. It was Ino and Hinata. Ino told me that everybody was here. Except for Sasuke of course...

"Why the hell would you do such a thing!?" Ino began to yell at me with confusion in her face.

I didn't know what to say. "I-I... because..."

Hinata interrupted, "She doesn't have to give an explanation Ino." She than faces towards me with a smile on her face.

"It's because I couldn't handle it! I want to see Sasuke!" I outburst in tears as Hinata came up to me and gave me a hug so I can calm down.

Hinata whispered in my ear so Ino wouldn't hear, "I was about to do the same thing too Sakura. I know it hurts not seeing the one you love for a long time." She than let go of the hug and looked at me. This time she said it out loud so Ino can hear. "If there is anything you need, just ask." She than let Ino in front of her so she could talk to me.

Ino came up to me and apologized. "I'm sorry. You really didn't have to tell me. I know you need your time to rest, but please! Never do that again." She told me with full concern.

She's right. I should've stopped myself. I shouldn't even fall for him anymore for what he has done. Sasuke is a criminal now and is with that jerk, Orochimaru. I should just move on and never think about him again, because if I do... I will probably do that again.

I don't won't to hurt myself or my friends either. Never ever again. Like Ino said at the beach, I have to move on and find another man to put in my life. I have to if I want to forget him.

Once Ino was done talking to me, her and Hinata were about to walk out until I asked them a question. "Is Naruto out there?"

Hinata nodded. "Yea, he was the one that told me everything. Ino actually told him."

I than asked Hinata a favor. "C-can you bring him in here?"

Hinata nodded and went out with Ino and all I did was wait for Naruto.

Naruto

"She wants to see me?" I'm surprised at the fact that she only wants to see me. I accepted the offer that Hinata told me and was on my way to her room.

I was worried about her. I know that she has been in love for Sasuke for a very long time. Longer than when I had feelings for her. I just feel so sorry for her that he is now... gone...

I went in her room and waved at her with a smile, but her reaction was solemn. She had no reaction in her face what so ever. Because of that, my smile than turned into an earnest frown. I put down my hand, the hand I was waving to her, and walked over slowly.

"Are you okay Sakura?" Is all I could bring out of my mouth.

She didn't respond. She probably didn't here me. I got up closer to her, I sat on the side of her bed and said again, "Are you okay?"

"N-N" She couldn't even say my name. Why isn't she saying anything? How could she have told Hinata that she wanted me if she isn't even talking.

I got up closer to her with full worry in my face. "Sakura... please speak to me... get Sasuke out of your thoughts right now." I continued as my face looked distressed, "What do I have to do to make you forget about him!? What-"

Before I could utter another word, she just rushed up to my face so fast that I didn't even notice. She than grabbed my face firmly and began to kiss me.
