------Time Skip to the day Lachlan is released from the Hospital-------

I slowly crack open my eyes up to the harsh lighting of my hospital room. I groan, and look over find Vikk and Rob lying uncomfortably on the leather hospital chairs. The entire time I've been here the guys have created a system, at least two of them have to stay and spend the night with me. I tried to go against it, but they insisted. Especially Preston. Vikk has stayed here the most, and Mitch has probably stayed the least, he has a very specific way of sleeping. Plus the concussion. I decide against waking them up, and adjust myself into a sitting position before looking at the clock. 9:00. I fix my gaze on the people passing by outside my room, and watch each person. This has been my routine, almost everyday I've been here. Watch the people outside, try and find a routine between them. I've figured out that my Nurse, Charlotte, passes by my room at least 35 times a day. Usually, she runs. Angelina has the morning shift. One of the doctors, I'm not sure what his name is, I know it begins with a B. Anyway, the only color he wears is blue. Dark blue, navy, light blue, a darker teal, that's it.

I notice Vikk beginning to stir beside me, so I groan tiredly, mumbling a "Good Morning," as if I had just woken up as well. He places himself properly on the chair, before turning to me tiredly. "Did I wake you up?" He asks, running his hand with a bright green cast through his tousled hair. I shake my head, and yawn. He squints his eyes, trying to read the clock. "I swear, I'll be blind by the time I'm 50." I snicker, before saying. "It's 9:21, by the way." He nods, and shakes Rob. Rob snorts and jumps, before settling back down. "Jesus Vikk, again?" He asks, before looking at me, then the clock. "Oh." He mutters, and I look over to see Vikk blushing. "Again?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, you tend to talk in your sleep, and sometimes Vikky here, gets frightened and wakes me up." Rob explains, leaning back in his chair. He yawns, putting his hand over his mouth, while Vikk just face-palms. "What do I say?" I ask, interested. I don't think I've ever talked in my sleep before. No one has ever told me, at least.

"It's mostly mumbling, or it's just things like, 'no, please, stop.' Stuff like that. Do you remember what you dreamt about?" He asks. I hesitate. "No, I haven't been having any dreams since I've been here." I actually have, it's just been darkness, though. I'm just sitting in a dark room, by myself. Unable to move. An occasional faint light comes on, only to flicker out, but that's it. Every night. I hear Rob mutter an 'oh', and Vikk mumbling a 'sorry.' "You don't have to be sorry," I shrug, "It was my fault for waking you up anyways." Charlotte knocks on the door, and I quickly say, "Come in." She walks in, and nods at Vikk and Rob, who smile at her. "Well, you can leave anytime. I hope you've had a nice time while you've been here," Not really. "and I hope to see you again." I raise an eyebrow, pretending to not understand. "Wait, not that I want you to get hurt, just that you were nice company in this...." She stops and blushes. "I-I'm gonna go now. Bye Lachlan! Bye Vikk and..." She leads off. "Rob." Rob answers. She smiles at him. "Well, bye boys!" She says, leaving the room.

I stretch out my arms, and pull the sheets off of myself. "Finally!" I cheer, swinging my legs off to the side of the bed. I ease off of the bed, putting my feet on the floor. I stand up, swaying slightly. I try to step forward, only to lose my balance, and for Rob and Vikk to catch me. I laugh awkwardly, as they stand me back up. "I guess not standing for a week will mess with you." I say, blushing. They both snicker, and walk me over to the end of the bed. Rob a stack of clothes in my hands, before saying, "Here are some of your clothes, we washed them from..." He pauses. "The other day." He pats them as he leaves them in my hands, as Vikk and himself leave the room. I close the little curtain in front of the window, before quickly changing into my outfit. While, losing my balance and falling a few times. I sit down and slide my shoes on, finding little twigs and broken leaves still fixed into the grooves in the bottom of the shoes. I shiver at the memory of the end of that dreadful night. I slowly and cautiously stand up, and slowly make my way over to the door.

I step out to find them standing there, and Vikk asks, "Are you ready?" I can't help but make a reference, and say "I was born ready." Vikk smirks at me, before stepping out of my way and holding his arm out toward the empty hallway ahead. I look at him, and make a 'Oh you've got to be kidding me,' look. "Well, you lead the way, Rookie." He smiles, still pointing down the hallway. I feel my legs tense, before smirking back at him, and darting down the hall. I run down the hall till I get to a turn, and skid to a stop, turning around. I turn and look back, smirking at their confused and shocked expressions. Hold up, how did I do that? I think, holding out my legs and observing them. Maybe it's built up energy. Yeah. I'm gonna go with that. I'm taken from my thoughts as the two run up to me, already out of breath. "How'd you do that?!" Rob breaths, propping himself up against a wall. I shrug. Vikk, not far behind, stops and bends his knees, holding himself up with his arms. "Darude," Vikk says, trying his best to talk. "How did you do that?" He asks. I just smirk, before trying to walk, and nearly collapsing again. I catch myself, and lean against the wall, hearing them snickering behind me. "Shut up." I mutter, a smile tugging at my lips.

"Well," Rob starts, pulling my left arm over his shoulder. "We should get this sandstormer to the car." Vikk goes to my right arm, and pulls it over his shoulder. I smirk. "No offense Vikk..." He looks up. "I don't really think that's helping me." I say, smirking down at him. He makes a sarcastic angry look and drops my arm, and starts walking away, with his hands in the air. "I'M OUT!" He yells, making me and Rob laugh. "I was just kidding! Come back Vikkyyyy!" I yell and he stops, and turns around. "I'm not even that short!" He says pouting, stomping back to us. "I know, I'm just messing with you." he smirks at me. "I know, Jolly Green." I pretend to be mad as well. "Hey!" I yell, flicking his ear. He mutters a 'darude' before putting my arm back around his neck, and we make our way to the elevator, and out of this place.

They sign me out, as I weakly walk my way out of the hospital. I'm relieved to feel the sun on my pale, cold skin instead of the terrible, fake, not to mention, harsh lighting in the hospital. I look at all of the cars in the parking lot, before turning around and looking at both of them. "Uhm, what car?" I ask, and they both laugh. They point to a little black car, which I've never seen before. Oh, that must be Vikk's new car. At least we don't have to walk to the parking deck. I make my way to the car, and wait for him to unlock the car, before sliding into the left side behind the driver's seat. He pulls out and as we start to drive to Mitch's house, memories start to flood my mind. I imagine we're back in Mitch's car, and I'm sitting in the exact same spot. Same freezing temperature, same storm. Same tree in the road Vikk yells for Mitch to watch out for. Even the same jolt as we crash into it. I feel myself jolt forward, and my eyes snap open, to realize we've come to a harsh complete stop at a red light. I sigh and sit back, confused at why the memories have to come back. I seem to block out the faint music from the radio, that Vikk and Rob seem to smile, and sing along to.

I sit in silence on the way to their house, trying to avoid anything that will remind me of the crash. But everything I seem to hear, and see, somehow finds a way to remind me of the occurrence. Except, nothing has reminded me of the so called lightning strike. I wonder if anything ever will.
