We come to yet another red light, making me flinch yet again. I notice the radio being turned down."Hey, Lachlan?"  hear Rob ask, and  look up. I see him looking at me concerned in the interior rear view mirror. What does he have to be concerned about? Just having miniature nightmares back here. Don't mind little ol' me. "Yeah?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "You're being really quiet back there. You okay?" Not really. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just- taking everything in, y'know?" I laugh awkwardly and turn my attention back to the window. I hear Rob mutter something, before turning the volume on the radio back up. I watch all the trees seem to blend together as we pass them, reminding me of the tree that fell that night. Jesus, Get out of my head! I just watch the pavement speed by, and if you look ahead at the road, it almost seems like there are puddles in the road. Kind of like when I was in the rain- OH GOD NOT AGAIN.

I shake my head and look up, to see Vikk looking at me in the rear view mirror and Rob turned around in the passenger seat, fully looking at me. "Oh god not again what?" Rob asks. Oh god. "Was I-" I get cut off by Vikk. "Yes, you were talking out loud." Can I just, shrivel up and die right now? No? Welp, I tried. "Just thinking about something." I say, rubbing my temples. "Something?" Rob asks, wiggling his eyebrows. Oh my god Rob. "I'd rather not talk about it, if you don't mind. Sorry." I say sheepishly. I DON'T WANNA THINK ABOUT IT EITHER, BUT HERE I AM. I quickly look up and see them still looking at the road, making small talk. I sigh in relief. Just making sure I didn't say that out loud. Again. I just close my eyes, and lay there. I'm not sleeping, but maybe they think so. I'm hoping they do, I don't want to be bombarded with questions. Maybe if I'm lucky, they'll carry me inside.

I feel the car come to a stop, so I try to quickly and quietly get into a more comfy sleeping-like position. I hear Rob and Vikk start to talk.

"What are we supposed to do with him? He's asleep!" Well, I don't know Rob. I'd advise you don't wake me up or I will make your life a living h-

"We shouldn't wake him up, or he'll be really cranky." Thank you, Vikk.

"How are we supposed to get him inside? Carry him?" No, I thought you could use your telekinesis to levitate me inside, Rob. Duh.

"Well, what other option do we have?" LEVITATE ME.

"Fine, but I'm not carrying him." Rob, Vikk is short. That won't work.

"You have to, or I'll drag Lachlan. He's so talllll." Vikk emphasizes. I'm not even that tall. Like, I'm 6'1. What do you want from me.

"But he's heavyyyy." Wow, I can sense the darudeness from here. Thanks Rob.

"No, he's actually really light. It's intimidating. I'm probably heavier." ....Thank you?

"Fine, but you have to make dinner."

"I thought we were having pizza!" Jesus, for a minute I thought we were actually gonna have a human-like dinner. How long was I in the hospital again?

"Fine, buy dinner then." Wow, harsh consequences Rob. Dial it down.

I hear Vikk groan. "Fine." Great negotiation boys. Nice.

I feel a strong pair of arms wrap around me, and lift me up. "Wow, he is light." I'm honestly confused if that's a compliment or a put down. Can someone explain please?  Rob adjusts his grip so that he's carrying me bridal style, and starts to carefully take me inside. I hear the car beep, signaling that its been locked. I hear footsteps run by me, and past me. I shift uncomfortably, and Rob just tightens his grip. Wow, thanks. I hear the jingling of keys and a short silence, before the door clicks open. He carries me inside, and lays me down on something comfy. Not comfortable enough to be a bed. I make a tiny shift of movement, before hitting something soft, probably a pillow, blocking my side from moving any farther. Yep, I'm on the couch.
