Stepping out of the door a chill runs down my spine, making me shiver involuntarily. I look over at Preston's expression as he let out a cloud of warm air, a soft smile forming on his face as his cheeks quickly begin turning crimson. I can only imagine my own face, cheeks and nose as red as a tomato.

Fidgeting as we wait for Mitch to lock the door, we all finally begin to walk towards the beach. It was easy to tell Rob was thankful for the weather, due to his lack of a jacket and soft expression. We had all decided to leave our phones, since the walk was a little more than a mile. So at the moment, everyone was just enjoying the outdoors.

It's an abnormal thing to do when some of the only things you do is travel, sleep, and play video games for fun.

There was small talk the entire way, the conversation mostly containing either complaints or compliments on the temperature. I think you can guess who liked it and who didn't. Besides that, we questioned what we would do. Once again, Mitch being Mitch, he just shrugged and said he didn't think that far ahead.

Vikk eased up beside me, purposefully nudging his head into my shoulder, making me look down overtop the fur hood of my coat, a mishchzevious grin on his face. Wiping the hair from his eyes, he wriggled his eyebrows at me. I furrow my eyebrows at him, whispering to him.

"What are you doing?"

He stands up on his toes, being as quiet as possible.

"You could hear me, couldn't you?"

He points to his head.

I laugh slightly, shaking his head.

"I don't read thoughts all the time, Vikk."

He blushes. "I probably looked so perverted then, didn't I."

Smirking down at him, I mumble, "A little bit." Just loud enough to earn a hit to the shoulder. Glancing down at him, he sends me an annoyed glance.

"You're gonna have to show them tonight, you know. It's the best time." I hear him whisper, and I frown slightly. "Not yet Vikk."

"You can't keep avoiding it."

I look down and notice his focused expression, along with his furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips. I close my eyes for a split second, sending him a thought.

"I know." I thought, looking back at his sparkling eyes as he received the message.

He doesn't respond or think loud enough for me to hear, so we just keep walking quietly as Jerome continuously curses about how it's almost April, and that this weather is, 'bs.'

Once we make it to the beach, we all take off our shoes and hide hem beside the sand dunes, taking off to the water. I stand and take in the beautiful sunset, one you might see from a painting or a perfect movie scene, where a few dolphins would jump from the water.

But there were no dolphins.

Bummer.

Rob jumps in front of my vision, beckoning me to come to the shore. I reluctantly jog over and look at where he's pointing, seeing an army of tiny crabs swarming around Preston's feet with a horrified look on his face.

"This is it, this is where I die," He starts to whisper, staring at the little crabs.

"I'm going to die to fetus crabs, oh my god." He starts, covering his face.
