CHAPTER 1: Christmas Break

June

"Thank you Tokyo! Good night everybody!" Waving goodbye to the crowd made me smile, even though this has only become harder and harder every time I do this, it makes my heart break slightly. Making it to the back I see Maddi my manager, collapsing on the ground trying to cool off was always the best part. My crew thought it was a problem at first but they got used to it. "Phew... That was tiresome, I never want to go on tour again!"

"June you're at your peak of fans! We need to continue. Like, now!"

"Maddi, I love you and all but let's not go on another tour. I want to go back to school, with my friends. I want my own life."

I stared at Maddi for a long period of time before I got an answer. "Fine! If you disappear from the face of the earth and your fans freak out, I'm not digging you out of your grave..." She walked away pissed at my decision, but it's something I've wanted to do for a while. June going back to school, that's very awkward sounding. I haven't been to school for a solid two years. I wonder if my old friends will recognize me? I didn't have red hair, a lip or nose piercing when I last saw them. I was still that brown haired geek with the braces and glasses trying way too hard in life. Now everyone helps me every second of my day.

I grab my phone in curiosity of who I should text, her? No. Her? No. Him? No!

I kept looking until I found the perfect contact. My old friend Nicole, she came on tour with me around America for a bit before I left the country for Europe and Australia. The fond memories in those continents. I wish I could have brought her with me. She would have loved Europe so much!

Hey Nicole! I've got news! Txt me asap when you get this! Love June~

Within 5 minutes I got a text from her. Oh great, hey June. What's up..?~Nicole

Well, I'm done on tour and I'm coming back to Minnesota to go back to school with you guys!~June

Shut up, you're kidding me. June do not tell me you're lying to me!!??~Nicole

Believe it Nicole! Because within two days, I'll be home!~June

Oh my god!!!!! AH my best friend is coming home after two years!~Nicole

No problem honey, it's Christmas break anyways. Just started yesterday.~Nicole

Wow really? Has it snowed yet? I always loved the winter in Minnesota. I kind of miss it now.~June

The first snowfall was two weeks ago, but if you're coming in a couple of days then you'll see it snow haha.~Nicole

Hmmmm two girls have had to transfer out of our school because they were pregnant by the same guy, I started to use a new hair care-.....

I started to skip over a few parts of her text. Dating, more sex, drama, and teachers being hot. That's fantastic, Oh yeah and the band 5sos, remember them? Yeah they became really famous from MTV and every girl is fainting at the sight of them at school.~Nicole

Wait the little dinky garage band that we use to talk to?~June

Yeah them, ever since they became famous I've started to get noticed because I'm dating him! AHH!! ~Nicole

Whoa wait you two are dating?! That's amazing, since when?~June

Yeah, we started dating before you left remember? Ever since then it's been like a dream with him.~Nicole

I couldn't help but smile, then I started to think about everyone else there. Ashton, Calum, and Michael..

Can I ask, how is everyone else doing?~June

Everyone is doing pretty good, especially Mikeyyy, he said he misses you!~Nicole

I couldn't help but smile reading his name, but hold on, I have Bennett. I shouldn't be thinking about Mikey like that... Although it would be nice. Oh shut up Nicole, that isn't fair of you to pull off at all.~June

Her and I continued talking the whole night till one of us passed out. It felt good to text her honestly. I kind of missed her a lot, I'm also going to be happy when I get to see Bennett. I talked to him over FaceTime yesterday and it was nice hearing his voice, but to actually hug my 6'4 boyfriend makes it even better. I'll tell him the good news tomorrow. Right now to sleep and not have to worry about Dj-ing or singing cover songs. Just get to be June... And only June.
