Mangled hands have been turning up all over Australia and the inhabitants are scared. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a rifle, and still nobody has a clue who the snooty killer is.
Sir Robert Khan is a tall and smart computer programmer with a fondness for star gazing. He doesn't know it yet but he is the only one who can stop the clumsy killer.
When his lover, Alison Donaldson, is kidnapped, Sir Khan finds himself thrown into the centre of the investigation. His only clue is a bendy blade.
He enlists the help of a bold actor called Alison Parkes.
Can Parkes help Khan overcome his cigarettes addiction and find the answers before the cowardly killer and his deadly rifle strike again?
