A long, long time ago in a rural, rural galaxy...
After leaving the windy planet Ocampa, a group of trolls fly toward a distant speck. The speck gradually resolves into a false, space garage.
Civil war strikes the galaxy, which is ruled by Sophia Zeus, a happy elf capable of adultery and even abduction.
Terrified, a frantic robot known as Dan Trescothik flees the Empire, with his protector, Graham Noris.
They head for Truro on the planet Mooyani. When they finally arrive, a fight breaks out. Noris uses his rural spoon to defend Dan.
Noris and Robot Dan decide it's time to leave Mooyani and steal a space rocket to shoot their way out.
They encounter a tribe of D-A-F-Teens. Noris is attacked and the robot is captured by the D-A-F-Teens and taken back to Truro.
Noris must fight to save Robot Dan but when he accidentally unearths a fake teapot, the entire future of the rural, windy galaxy is at stake.
