Andrew Thornton is a stunning, slim and giving cleaner from the seaside. His life is going nowhere until he meets Dolly Ferguson, a muscular, short woman with a passion for cats.
Andrew takes an instant disliking to Dolly and the scheming and deranged ways she learnt during her years in Europe.
However, when a shark tries to kill Andrew, Dolly springs to the rescue. Andrew begins to notices that Dolly is actually rather brave at heart.
But, the pressures of Dolly's job as a author leave her blind to Andrew's affections and Andrew takes up stamp collecting to try an distract herself.
Finally, when creepy psychiatrist, Brad Blunder, threatens to come between them, Dolly has to act fast. But will they ever find the incredible love that they deserve?
