Clara's pov:

My body was bursting with energy as Sidney and I took our bow after our performance. I felt like I was on cloud 9. The best part was, that we got a standing ovation from everyone in the crowd.  Even crazy old jerry was clapping so hard that his dentures fell out and cannon balled into his glass of sparkling ice water.  Gross but awesome.

I looked around and saw that people had took some videos and we're taking lots and lots of pictures, were we that good?

   I guess so.

My eyes scanned the crowd for the nerdy glasses and blonde hair that belonged to Colin, I couldn't find him until I was tackled into a hug.

"THAT WAS AWESOME"

It took me some time to regain my composure, but I had recognized the voice which belonged to no one other than Colin himself.  I know we've only hanged out for a couple of hours but it felt like I've known him forever.

   You know that feeling right?

When you meet someone and it feels like you haven't seen them in like, forever but you've only just met.

Well I feel that way towards Colin.

"Thanks Colin, did you like it?"

I looked up to see a smile plastered onto his chiseled face,

" I don't like it, I LOVE IT"

I laughed a little at the fact that he quoted another one of flo rida's songs, I do like that song, I should sing it sometime.  I made a mental not to sing it next karaoke night which was next Friday.

At rikky's diner it is karaoke night every night but Friday's are hip hop/rap battles, everyone comes here on Fridays.  It took Sidney so long to persuade me to get my ass up here to sing and I'm glad she made me do this because the rush you get when the beat drops just consumes you, and you just explode with energy when you begin rapping.  I'm in love with this feeling it's insane.

The only reason Sidney knew I could sing is the fact that she herd me in the kitchen when I was volunteering here after school last year I was wrapped up in the music blasted from my headphones I didn't even here her call my name 2 times,

Or maybe it was 10 times...

I don't even fucking know.

Tonight was my first performance to show everyone my skills, to make my big mark  in the music world as all the rich and famous say.

Or was it my mom who said that?

I was snapped out of my montage by Colin telling me that it was time to get back to my place because his dad has texted him like 20 times but he didn't even notice, his phone was off.

   "Race you outside!"

   " oh no you don't"

I sprinted pushing him back making a better advantage for me to get to my board and bag,  I was just about to push off when the last thing I heard was a huge truck horn and my foot getting caught in my wheel launching me towards the speeding vehicle.....

CRASH!!!

Than I slipped into utter darkness.....
