Clara's pov:

My eyes trailed down his body as he did the same to me, he was wearing a black v neck, plaid blue and black button up, some beige washed jeans and some black vans.

while I was wearing some black ripped jeans, a white v neck, a black leather jacket with golden spikes all over it, some pure white Jordan's and a white Bennie that says OMG in big black bold letters.

"listen honey Colin's dad and I need to do some work, the food was amazing and I would like it if you take Colin some where for a couple hours, oh and help yourself to your dessert."

I dragged Colin into the kitchen and grabbed two plates and set them down on the counter beside Colin.

" help yourself to the buffet"

he started to dig in and moaned in delight

" you made this?"

I nodded slowly in sort of a DUH way.

I grabbed a slice of red velvet cake and threw some whipped cream on it with some ice cream on the side, I grabbed a spoon and slowly and gracefully ate my food while he was sort of vacuuming the food in his mouth.

I started to laugh at him and he turned to look at me,

"what"

" um you got a little bit of chocolate fudge right about there"

I pointed to my cheek as he attempted to wipe the fudge away

" no it's your other cheek"

he tried to wipe it again but missed it again,

" ok here let me get it"

I grabbed a napkin and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him towards me, I wiped the fudge off of his cheek and threw the napkin in the garbage.

" better?"

" yea thanks" he replied a little flustered.

"Do you skate?"

he looked at me as he grabbed his plate and my plate and started to wash them in the sink,

"uh yes why"

"ok, we should go down to the boardwalk and hang out at the beach maybe?"

"sure that sounds awesome but I don't have a board"

I smiled and grabbed his arm and dragged him up the stairs to my room. I let go of his arm as he sat on my bed, and I grabbed my teal board and a blue board for him. I threw my board to Colin as he caught it.

" Nice board Clara"

"shall we get going"

I asked as I stood beside the door pointing out into the hallway. I sprinted down the stairs as I heard heavy footsteps behind me trailing on my tail.

We're going down to the boardwalk!! I yelled my uncle yelled back an ok as I sprinted out the door rolling my board on the pavement as the cool night air whipped through my hair as I could hear the vibration of wheels signaling that Colin was right behind me.

"damn your fast"

"yeah yeah ok beat you to the boardwalk"

"oh no you don't"

I sped down the road feeling more free than ever, LA is beautiful
