"He's actually doing much better. Which I find pretty great considering its already been a week since they broke up." I say to Noah as I was cooking up a grilled cheese sandwich for the two boys and myself. I've practically been living here for the past week, occasionally visiting my mom. They didn't seem to mind, in fact, I'm sure they are savoring each and every moment of it.

Mark has been has been recovering from his breakup at such a steady pace and I told him that I would help him out every step of the way. Anyssa on the other hand, seems to have completely forget Mark in general, which gets me infuriated. I keep my cool though, cause if Mark finds me tense, then so will he. He just wants me to be happy even though he hasn't been in such a stable mood.

I can tell he is already trying to make up this past week up. I even hate to say that he's been acting more of a boyfriend to me than Sammy has been lately. He claims he doesn't have time for a 10 minute call, yet he has time to post pictures of him with his friends on Instagram. I just really want to hear his voice, talk about our day even though our time is limited. It really is all that i ask for. "I really appreciate what you're doing Avia. It means a lot to me to see you care for my brother so much." Noah sincerely says to me.

"Well, he's been an amazing friend to me. Im just returning the favor really. I'd actually do anything for your brother, he's got a kind heart." I gush, placing the last grilled cheese onto a plate. This is what the three of us called comfort food. We've been eating this for as long as I could remember. I'd make it for the good times, as well as the bad, even when we're just craving it. "Do you ever wish that you and him didn't break it?" He questions, grabbing Marks plate as well as his own.

I thought about what he said for a second. Yea, I'd say we had a pretty amazing relationship, and it did feel like it ended all too quickly. I miss being with him, thats for sure. "I don't regret it, but I do miss it. Its not something that i wish never happened because I do believe our connection has been stronger than ever. We understand each other much better, and we just know the right things to do or say when either one of us is feeling down. So yes and no, I guess." I tell him as we make our way up the stairs.

Noah always felt like an older brother I never had. He was in his fourth year of college, and was striving to be an engineer. He doesn't have a girlfriend just yet, but he has been going on a few dates with this girl he refuses to tell me about. He wants to make sure that he feels like they're going to last before he talks about her, which, I completely understand.

This girl would be absolutely nuts if she were to say no to being his girlfriend. I don't know what it is with the Andersons, but there just seems to be this gene that runs through them to be amazing people. Noah is one of the sweetest people I have ever come across in my entire existence, apart from Mark of course. They are both alike in many ways, yet so different.

"I know I shouldn't have enjoyed this, but I'm glad that my brother isn't with Anyssa. Its not about the fact that I want you two together, its because she treated him like crap. I went to dinner with them once, and the way she treated him made me so angry. He really did love her which sucks, but its nice to know that they won't be getting married." He vents. It makes me actually feel bad for Anyssa, the fact that none of Marks family approved of her. To be honest though, she did put that upon herself. She really wasn't a great girlfriend and we all knew that Mark deserved someone so much better.

The silence overcomes us as we make our way to Marks room. I hear the television on, and the sounds of guns shooting. He's most likely playing Call of Duty, which I happen to be very good at. After countless times of practicing with him, I actually managed to kill him plenty of times online. We enter in his room and he's sprawled all over his bed, shirtless and in red gym shorts. He had his controller in his hands and was focused on the screen in front of him.
