The Secret Heels

Chapter 2

Merry Christmas! I attached a trailer I made for the book. The people I chose definitely don't need to be your idea of the characters, but it's just my thoughts for them. 

Chapter Two

"Sasha, adjust your wig I can see your hair," Lisa said. The girls were preparing to film their video taking responsibility for the heist, give a clue as to where the next heist would be, and of course taunt the police. Eve turned on the voice scrambler and Sasha began talking.

"Ladies and Gentleman, by now you have probably heard of our latest party. If you were there, we hope you had a good time. The paintings are oh so beautiful. There is a quote by Galileo that I enjoy 'I've loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night'. At the next party, If the police fail to capture us, we will do more than take your materialistic things." Hannah turned the camera off and Eve began editing it and making sure none of Sasha's real voice was in the video. Then, she uploaded the video to their twitter account.

They shot the film in Sasha's attic. One of the walls was painted black and didn't have any special decorations so that no one could figure out where it was being filmed. Tonight, they were staying at Sasha's house. It wasn't often they could do that on a Sunday night, but occasionally they got permission. The girls stayed up till three in the morning when Sasha's mom got home.

"Hey girls, shouldn't you be asleep?" her mom asked. "Yes, but we had to make you dinner for when you got home," Sasha said sliding a plate of lasagna with garlic bread over to her mom. Her mom shot a thankful smile at the girls and accepted the bribe to let them stay awake.

After staying downstairs watching TV for a while, Lisa and Hannah had fallen asleep. Eve and Sasha were on the twitter account and Eva had to go bail her cousin out of jail. If her grandparents found out, Eva and her cousin would be screwed.

When Eve and Sasha were done looking at all the tweets about the latest video, they went upstairs to sleep. It was already four in the morning so they would only get a few hours of sleep.

"Sasha! You all need to get up!" Diana, Sasha's mom, yelled. Eve rolled off the bed on one side and Sasha on the other. Hannah and Lisa laughed at the two of them. They took turns showing before getting ready together. The girls had decided to match for the day and they were all wearing white jeans and some sort of black top with black sandals. They ate the waffles and bacon that Diana made and got out of there before Sasha's grandpa woke up. On the way to school, they had to pick Eva up and they could tell that it didn't go well last night. She was silent the entire way to school.

Hannah and Sasha had a the same schedule except for third hour. Lisa, Eve, and Eva had first, fifth, lunch, and seventh hour with the other two, but other than that they only saw each other at lockers.

At lunch, they sat outside by themselves under a tree that was behind the school. "So, I have some good news," Eve said. The others looked up at her "What's up?" Lisa asked. "So, I know we were going to hit that bank owned by that Italian family and that's why Sasha quoted Galileo, but my cousin is going to Italy to see some friends and he said we can go with him," she told the girls as she got more excited with each word. They all lit up and nodded their heads "We're going to Italy!" Eva yelled.

Eva got permission as soon as she got home and was already packing even though they didn't leave for a week. She packed all of her yoga pants and muscle tank tops. Along with some dresses, rompers, t-shirts and of course jeans. When she finished packing Eva went into her cousin's room where he was watching a movie. She plopped down onto his bed next to him and told him about Italy. "Seriously Eva! That's awesome!" he said looking away from the TV screen. She frowned "Yeah, I just feel bad leaving you here with them," Eva said, referencing to her grandparents. Her cousin smiled "Let me act like the older cousin, okay?" he asked laughing. She nodded at him as she smiled. They watched the rest of the movie in silence.
