Chapter Eighteen
The first day of high school. The last year of school for seniors and the beginning of the next chapter for freshman. Among the incoming freshman were Hannah, Eve, Eva, Lisa, Sasha, and Dina. They hadn't met yet, but were on their way.
Hannah was sitting with some teammates from the soccer team. They were discussing practices and giving her some advice for classes.
"Do you have Mr. Hartford?" Melina asked her.
Hannah nodded, "Is that a good thing or bad thing?"
"Good. He's really laid back and you can get away with a lot in his class." Hannah smiled. At least that was one teacher she didn't have to worry about.

Eve sat by herself in the library. She was hacking into Melina's social media. It was revenge for calling her a nerd earlier that day. The bell rang for first hour and Eve closed her laptop and headed to Geometry. The first of her AP classes.
She smirked to herself when Melina came in crying. Flocked by her soccer friends as always. She shot a glare at Eve when she saw her.
"It was you, wasn't it?"
Eve turned around. "Why do you care, aren't you one of her little soccer servants?"
The girl laughed, "I'm Hannah and between you and me she had it coming."
Eve looked at the girl curiously as she went back to Melina. Maybe not all soccer players are bitches.

Eva had decided to skip the festivities of class and was hanging around in the library on one of the couches.
"Hello Evangeline, I was not aware that couch was your first hour," Mrs. Rory, the principal, commented walking into the library.
"Well hello, Mrs. Rory. How's the first day going?" Eva asked smiling.
Mrs. Rory was not amused. "Get to class, now!" she demanded crossing her arms. Eva rolled her eyes and got up. She waved goodbye and turned the corner.
Eva hid out in the bathrooms for ten minutes and then went back to the library.
"She isn't going to be happy that you're in here."
Some girl was sitting at the desk in the library checking books in.
"Like I care. Why are you in here, freshman?"
The girl raised her eyebrow, "It's my first hour, you're a freshman too, and my name is Sasha not freshman."
"Someone's a little full of themselves, do you think I really care about your name?"
Sasha was not one to stand there and take an insult. She got in Eva's face. "You are so pathetic. Do you even have a future?"
Eva's rage grew. "Oh like you're any better. Being teacher's pet doesn't make you a 'good kid' it makes you a pathetic one. I mean do you even have friends?"
"Woah! Calm down guys!"
Sasha and Eva looked over and saw two girls standing by the entrance.
"What the hell do you want? This has nothing to do with you?" Eva asked them not losing any sass or attitude.
Hannah put her hands on her hips. "Excuse me? I don't need your attitude. Play the rebel card on someone else. I'm Hannah, this is Eve and Mr. Kelly sent us to get some more textbooks."
