Chapter Nine
"We tie up way too many people to be mentally sane," Sasha commented as her and Eve stared at a sleeping Mamoru. Eve laughed and nodded her head in agreement. The two girls were drinking coffee with bagels. "I really want some pizza," Lisa commented walking into the room. The past few weeks had actually been really nice...other than the fact that someone was tied up in their living room. It was kind of like before the Italy job and the heels knew it wouldn't last long, but they were determined to enjoy it while it did.
Lisa begged and begged until Eve finally admitted defeat and left to get pizza with her. They promised to bring back leftovers...at least Eve promised to.
"You have an unhealthy obsession with pizza," Eve stated watching Lisa eat a whole pizza by herself. "And you have a love affair with computers...your point?" Lisa replied. Eve rolled her eyes playfully, "Eat your pizza,"
"Honey, I'm home!" Lisa shouted walking into the door with a box of pizza. Sasha came into the room and grabbed the pizza, "You shouldn't have," she joked taking a piece of pizza. "Trust me I didn't," Lisa pouted getting a soda.
"Ok, Matt. I'm gonna ask nicely one more time. Why did Luke help you?" Dina questioned starting to lose her patience. Mamoru smirked,"It's Mamoru now and I already told you...I don't know," he replied snarkily still smirking at Dina. She sighed turning away and quickly looking back at him to punch him in the noise. "You bitch!" he yelled at Dina she smirked at him.
Sasha and the others came into the living room when they heard him yell. "What's going on?" Sasha asked looking at Dina. Mamoru tried talking, but Eve shushed him. Sasha stared at Dina, "I'm waiting," she told her in a demanding tone. "I was trying to figure out why Luke helped him and he was being an ass. I thought it was only fair that he get punched for it. Why are you defending him?" Dina explained herself questioning Sasha. Eva stepped in to avoid an argument breaking out. "You guys stop it! Mamoru may not be the guy we all thought he was, but that doesn't mean we go around punching him! Dina, Sasha loved him so this can't be easy for her. Give her a break!" she said raising her voice in an attempt to silence everyone. "Ok, that solves this, but what about Sasha taking my pizza?" Lisa asked. Everyone rolled her eyes at that and she looked around waiting for a response.
That night the heels decided to throw an old time slumber party in the living room. They stuck Mamoru in Lisa's room in the closet to make space. They piled blankets on the floor with pillows. Lisa made the popcorn and Eve supervised, Sasha got the drinks, and Dina and Eve picked out the movies. The girls sprawled out on their fort of blankets and they were all asleep by the second movie.
Hannah had left Italy to find Luke. Since the heels interrupted her she never got her answers. Hannah might hate the others, but she was still hurt by whoever betrayed them and Luke was the only one that could give her those answers. She just wasn't sure where to look for them.
Dine woke up and rolled over. She sat up yawning and looked around. Sasha wasn't in the living room. Dina stood up and stumbled into the kitchen. Sasha was at the kitchen table. She looked over and stood up. "There's coffee in the pot," she told Dina leaving the room. "Sasha, wait," Dina called out quietly as to not disturb the others. Sasha turned around and put a hand on her hip. Dina beckoned her to sit down and she reluctantly did so. "I'm sorry about punching Mamoru. I know you thought you loved him and so did I. That was of course a long time ago and I've had time to get over it. I should have respected the fact that you were engaged only a week or two ago," Dina apologized sincerely. Sasha set her coffee cup down,"You don't have to apologize, Dina, I know this must be hard for you to," Sasha replied accepting her apology. Dina smiled and the girls hugged.
