Chapter 16

I exited the plane and waited in the lobby for my brother to pick me up. Cameron and Nash have been blowing my phone up. I wish they would leave me alone.

My brother finally arrived. I walked out and got into his car. I threw my bag on the floor and laid my head against the car window. Good thing I explained everything on the plane ride. Justin said he understood.

Once we arrived home I grabbed my bag and ran to the house. I opened the front door and ignored my mother. I ran to my room and cried. I was sobbing into my pillow until I heard a knock on my door.

I got up and opened the door.

"It's time to eat sis." Justin said.

"I'm not eating." I said and shut the door. I then locked it and laid on my bed. I shut my eyes and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Cameron's P.O.V

I woke up and realized that Alex was gone. Shit. This is all my fault. Why didn't I just let her explain?

I got up and ran to Bart's rooms. I knocked like 15 times. He finally answered.

"Alex is gone." I said.

"I know Cameron." Bart said and walked into his room. I followed and began frustrated.

"You knew and you never told me!" I yelled.

"Jesus Cam! You and Nash have put that girl through enough! Just leave her alone!" he yelled back.

"I love her Bart!" I yelled and clenched fists.

"If you loved her you would've let her explain." Bart said and sat down. I looked at that ground and ran my hands through my hair.

"Can I please fly home?" I asked.

"No Cameron." he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because Magcon is a priority. You have millions of girls who are paying to meet you." Bart said.

"Well the love of my life is gone! So good luck stopping me!" I yelled and ran out of his room.

I ran to mine and grabbed my phone and money. I then ran down the hotel stairs and out of the lobby. I ran down the block and to the airport.

I walked up to the lady at the desk and asked for a one way ticket to L.A. She handed it to me and told me to have a safe flight. I waited for the plane to be called and finally it did. I walked onto the plane and got seated.

Once we reached L.A I ran off the plane and into the lobby. I called a cab and waited for it. I decided to call Alex. it rang about 3 times then she hung up. I put my phone in my pocket, and groaned in frustration.

Finally the can came. I gave the dude her address and then he drove. He reached her house and I paid. I ran out of the cab and realized everyone was asleep. Well except her.

I hopped her fence and ran into her backyard. I saw her in her room reading. I climbed up the old ladder her dad left out years ago. I remember when she was grounded, I would always climb up and see her.

I got on her balcony and knocked on her window. She came over to the window and closed the curtains.

"Alex come on." I said.

"I'll say out here all night if I have to." I said.

"Then have a nice night." she said. I then felt a rain drop land on my face. It began to pour down rain. She opened the window and grabbed me a towel. I stepped inside and saw how much of a mess she is.

Her hair was in a messy bun, she had tear stained cheeks, her clothes were old and she looked crushed.

"Alex I'm so sorry baby." I said.

"Don't call me baby." she said.

"I'm so sorry Alex." I pleaded.

"I love you so much." I said and caressed her cheek. I then felt a tear land on my hand.

She then said the words that changed my life.
