Chapter 6

I thought it was all over but it wasn't.

Today was the slowest day in history. Well that's what it felt like. Lunch was the worst thing ever. Today Emily decided to sit with us. Insert rolling eyes much. She thinks she's all that in a bag of chips. Like with her pom poms and her 'rah rah' uniform like no.

She is honestly only dating Cameron cause he's hot af, sweet, athletic, and popular. And not to mention she hates me and bullies me. I've told Cameron about her but it's not like he actually listens to me.

"Alex!" Cameron yelled in my face as I was lost in my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I asked you if you wanted to go get Taco Bell" he said.

"I'm busy" I said and walked away.

"Alex your not busy" Cameron said and grabbed my waist. I gulped at his hand on my lower back.

"I-I um" I stuttered.

"Alex please hang out with me I miss you" he said. His words made my heart skip a beat. I looked into his beautiful big brown eyes and it felt like I fell in love all over again.

"Like is said I'm busy" I said and got out of his grip. He sighed and grabbed my wrist and pulled to him.

"I'll see you at 3:00" he said and walked away. I was left in the hallway looking like a fucking idiot. I walked out to my car and threw my bag in the back seat. I started the car and backed out of my parking stop. I drove off towards my house and breathed in the air.

I pulled into my driveway and grabbed my bag. I opened my car door and walked up my steps. I opened the door and heard my parents yelling from the kitchen.

"Your never home Edward!" My mother yelled.

"Like its my fault!" My father yelled back.

"How isn't your fault you bastard!" She yelled even louder. I dropped my book bag and ran out the door. I ran to the one place I could be safe and sound.

Cameron's house.

I reached his house. I knocked on his door and tried to fix my messy hair. He opened the door and looked at me with sympathy.

"Come here" he whispered. I walked to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I buried my face into his chest and kept my hands to my chest.

"What happened?" Cameron asked as he shut the door. He then sat us on the couch and rubbed my back.

"M-y parents a-re fighting" I stuttered and cried harder. Cameron sighed and caressed my cheek. He lifted my chin up and wiped my tears away.

"Can we talk in your room?" I asked.

"Yeah sure" he said and grabbed my hand. I followed upstairs to his room. He opened the door and sat on his bed. I sat on his window sill. He has a balcony right across from mine.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Why are you dating Emily?" I asked.

"Alex I really don't want to talk about this" he sighed.

"Well I do" I said and looked at him.

"Cause I thought you didn't love me" he said and looked down at his hands.

"You don't know that Cameron"I said.

"I think I do" he said and laid on his back. I crawled on to his bed and laid on my stomach next to him. He set his hands on his stomach and set his feet on the wall above his bed. I crossed my legs in the air and looked at his blue camo comforter. (pic in media box)

"Can we please go back to being friends?" I asked.

"Anything for you" Cameron smiled. I smiled back and looked at his comforter again. I want to be with Cam but inside i know i can't. I sighed.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing" I lied.

"Alexandria Noel Greenwood don't lie to me" cam said. I giggled at him using my middle name. But it quickly faded.

"I should get home" I said and stood up.

"Why?" Cameron asked sitting up.

"My parents are probably worried" I lied. Who am I kidding my parents hate me. I just hope he doesn't realize it's a lie.

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow" cam said and stood up. He came and wrapped his arms around my waist. I put my arms around his neck. After about 20 seconds of hugging I was about to cry so I left. I ran out of his house and could feel tears pouring down my face.

Then it started raining. Hard. I smiled. I love the rain. It's so beautiful. People hate it but, it's so pure and natural. I was walking home when I heard someone yell my name. I looked in front of me and saw my dad. Shit.

"Alexandria!" My dad yelled. My dad grabbed my arm tight and dragged me to the house. I winced at his tight grip. He threw me in the house and i landed hard on the floor.

"Where were you!" My dad asked furiously.

"Cameron's" I said and stood up.

"What on gods earth were you doing over there?" My dad asked again.

"Just hanging out" I said.

"Don't lie!" He yelled then his hand came in contact with my cheek. My whole cheek stung like hell. I ran past him and to my room. I slammed my door and ran onto my balcony.

I rested my elbows on the railing and then heard my name get called. I looked up and saw Cameron. He waved and smiled. I waved back. He gave me a confused look and I gave him a 'don't worry' look and walked back inside.

I changed into a spandex, a grey tank top, and fuzzy socks. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and laid on my bed. I put my phone on the charger and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.

||next morning||

After my brother screamed in my ear like 5 times, I finally trudged out of bed and to my closet. I pulled out some black jeans, a grey knitted sweater, grey vans, and a black beanie. I changed then brushed my hair and teeth then put my beanie on. I grabbed my phone and book bag. I walked downstairs and out the door.

I decided to walk cause why not. Max isn't going to be here so I have no one to walk with. I finally reached hell. I mean school. I walked through the big doors and to my locker. I put in my combination and grabbed my books I needed.

As I was walking someone pushed me into a set of lockers and chuckled. I know that bitchy chuckle anywhere.

Emily.

She walked up to Cameron and planted her pink lips on his. I felt a jealousy run over me. I set all my stuff by Katey's locker. Luckily she was standing there. I walked over to them and pulled Cameron aside.

Before he could say anything I planted my lips on his and all I heard were gasps.
