Chapter 22

2 weeks later

I woke up wrapped up in Cameron's strong arms. I smiled and got out of his grip. I walked to bathroom and hopped in the shower. I washed my hair and body then got out. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked out to my closet.

I pulled out a white knitted sweater and black leggings. I put on my black lace panties and the matching bra. I then threw on my sweater and slipped on my leggings.

I walked downstairs and saw a note on the counter for me.

Dear Alex,
I am on a one week business trip. I was going to tell you but you can Cameron were asleep. I left money. Love you sweetheart.
Love dad.
Okay then. I threw the note away and sat at the island. I laid my head on the counter and sighed.

"What's wrong baby?" I heard someone say. I looked up and saw my cute boyfriend. I smiled and walked over to him.

"I'm stressed about my online school and my dad is on a business trip." I stuck out my bottom lip. He smiled at me and pulled my bottom lip with his teeth. I looked into his eyes then I smashed my lips onto his. He kissed back then pulled away.

I frowned.

"I gotta pack." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"I'm going to back to California for finals." He said and walked upstairs. I followed after him and saw him packing.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked while sitting on my bed.

"I didn't want to hurt your feelings baby." He said and crouched in front of me. I smiled and kissed his forehead.

"It's fine babe. Sorry I kinda freaked." I laughed and walked to my closet.

"It's fine babe." He said. I pulled out the shirt I took from him before I left. I walked to him and threw it in his bag. He picked it up and looked at me.

"What's this?" He asked.

"It's one of your shirts I took." I smiled and sat on the end of my bed.

"Keep it babe." Cameron said and pulled off the sweater I was wearing. He then put the shirt, I threw in his bag, on me. I smiled and kissed his lips.  He smiled and finished packing.

He finished and looked at me. He frowned and ran his hand through his hair. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He moved his hands to my waist and looked into my eyes.

"I'll be okay." I said.

"But, what if your-" I cut him off.

"I'll be fine." I said. He took a deep breathe and kissed my forehead. I smiled and sat on my bed.

"Cam, I need to tell you something." I looked up and saw him staring at me.

"When I went to the doctors last week, um, the baby had no, uh, heartbeat." I felt tears fall down my cheeks. He looked at me then at the ground.

"I love you. We'll get through this." He said and sat next to me. He laid his head on my shoulder and put his hand on my upper thigh. We sat here for about 2 minutes.

(a/n: I'm cuddling with my friends dog rn. I'm pretty happy😂💖)

"Let's head to the airport." I said and stood up. He looked at me then grabbed his bag. We walked out of my room and headed downstairs. I slipped on my converse. Cameron slipped on his vans then grabbed my hand.

We walked down the hallway to the elevator. We got in and pressed floor 1. Cameron grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. I laid my head on his shoulder, until the elevator doors opened.

I walked out first then we saw Nash. I hugged him.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"My mom doesn't want me to ride alone." Cameron said. I nodded then headed to the door. We called a cab and got in. Cameron sat on the right, Nash in the middle, and me on the right.

Cameron was looking out the front window with his mouth open. I smiled and took a picture. (pic in media box)

I posted it on Instagram and captioned it 'sending my baby home😔💘'. Cameron looked over at me and frowned.

We pulled up to the airport and I got out. I sighed and played with the bracelet Cameron gave me. He pulled my hand away and kissed me.

"I love you princess." He said.

"I love you too." I hugged him tight. He kissed the top of my head then walked into the airport. I waved goodbye and walked back to the cab. I got in and the dude pulled away. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and it was Dylan.

I put my phone away and laid my head on the window. I then heard a crash and then it went black.

Cameron save me, please.
