Chapter 29

Cameron and I sat in his bedroom looking at each other. Matt is getting cleaned up and so is Lucy. I looked at the floor and stared at my wedges.

"Baby, talk to me." He said.

"I got jealous." I said.

"I don't love Lucy the way I love you. Alex I'm sorry I've been spending a lot of time with her. My mom wants us to. I'd rather hang with my beautiful, hot girlfriend." He looked at me.

"I forgive you, if you apologize to Matt." I said and crossed my arms. He looked at me then frowned.

"I can't do that." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Why, he's your best friend." I crossed my arms.

"Was." He mumbled.

"Stop being a baby." I said. He looked up and smiled. He stood up and came over to me. He then kissed me and ran his hand up and down on my hips.

"Fine, I'll apologize." He said and walked out the door. I took a deep breath and followed. I walked downstairs and saw Beth smiling at me.

"Well hello Miss. Badass." She laughed and looped her arm around my shoulders. I bowed and slipped mine around her waist. She giggled and forced Nash to take a picture of us.

She captioned it 'wedding with my badass😍❤️'. I giggled. She smirked and walked over to Shawn. She kissed him and smiled. I stared at them, just embracing how happy they are. Then I felt arms around my waist. I looked up and saw Cameron smiling down at me. I turned around and grinned.

"So, you apologized?" I asked.

"Yeah. It was hard, but he is my best friend." He pulled me close and kissed my forehead. I looked up at him and saw something on his neck. I gasped and pushed him away from me. He looked at me confused.

"What's wrong babe?" He asked.

"Why is there a hickey on your neck?" I asked and put my hands in fists. He looked at me with sympathy.

"Oh my god! You did not sleep with her! Right?" I yelled. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at us.

"It was only one night babe." He said and stepped towards me. I stepped back and looked at him.

"One fucking night! I'm surprised you didn't do it longer!" At this point I was screaming and crying. Everyone was staring at me like I was on drugs.

"I'm done! So done!" I slapped him and ran to the door. I ran outside and stood there in the pouring rain. I was shivering and soaking wet. I then felt a towel wrap around me. I turned around and saw Bethany. She frowned and hugged me tight. I cried into her shoulder as she rubbed my back.

"Thanks." I sniffled.

"Anything for my best friend." She smiled and hugged me one more time.

"I'm gonna head home." I said and handed her the towel.

"But, the wedding is about to start." She said.

"Just tell Gina I got sick." I hugged her and walked back inside up to Cameron's room. I threw my soaking dress off and stared at my scared stomach. Never should've taken that razor to my stomach, I thought aloud.

"Your right." I heard someone say. I threw on my shirt real quick and turned around. I saw Matt standing there with a cut on his lip and a bruise above his right eyebrow. I smiled and sat down. He sat next to me and slung an arm around my neck. I leaned into him.

"Why is my girl best friend upset?" He asked.

"Cameron slept with Lucy." I said.

"I know. He told me. Well he's an asshole, but he's your boyfriend and I need to back off." He said and stood up.  I looked at him and all I saw was my boyfriends best friend. Nothing more, for now.

"Bye babes." He said and kissed my forehead. He left and I laid on Cameron's bed. I got under the covers and snuggled up on Cam's pillow. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Lucy's P.O.V

I felt my phone vibrate in my clutch. I took it out and and saw the one number I wanted to.

"Hello." I answered.

"How's the wedding?" She asked.

"Good." I smirked.

"How's Alex?" She asked.

"Hurt, broken. She's all ours now. I'll get the knife ready." I hung up and walked over to Cameron. Bye, bye Alex.
