Chapter 21

I sipped my tea in this lonely ass café. I adjusted my thick, black knitted beanie and looked around. I smoothed out my plaid shirt and my black leggings. I then pushed my black glasses up and checked my phone. (outfit in media box).

No text from him. This is great. I looked out the window and saw a couple hugging. I rolled my eyes and looked at my tea. I then brought the white mug to my lips and swallowed the warm liquid.

"Lonely I see." I heard a husky voice say. I looked up and saw a guy. He had blondish brown hair and light green eyes.

"Yeah. Just a little." I giggled and sipped my tea again. He sat down and smiled at me.

"Boyfriend troubles." He said. I looked at him with a shocked expression.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"I can tell your hurt by your eyes and your too beautiful not to have a boyfriend." He said and flashed me a crooked smile. I blushed a little and looked at him.

"Thanks for the compliment." I said and sighed.

"Tell about your troubles." He said and put his elbows on the small table, while leaning towards me.

"My boyfriend hasn't talked to me in about 3 days. He hasn't texted or called back. I'm afraid he went back to his old ways." I said and looked out the window.

"Well first off, I'm sorry. He's an idiot for not paying attention to such a beautiful girl. Also what are his old ways?" He got up and got coffee then sat back down.

"He use to party, drink, do drugs, and fuck girls left and right." I looked at him for a minute then out the window.

"He's seems like a gentleman." He laughed and then winked at me. I smiled and shook my head.

"He is now trust me." I said.

"Well he needs to act like it." He said and smiled at me. "By the way my names Dylan." He added.

"I'm Alex." I said and shook his hand. He smiled then pulled his phone out.

"Can I have your number?" He asked politely. I smiled and took his phone.

I put in 'Alex is my bb🙈💋' then my number. I handed him his phone and took mine to give it to him. He put his number and name in then handed it back to me.

"I'll see ya later gorgeous." He said and kissed my cheek. I grinned and waved bye. He smiled then walked out of the café. I sighed and saw that Cameron finally texted back.

I sighed and put my phone in my side purse. I left a tip and money on the table then left. I tried to get a taxi, but failed. I groaned in frustration.

I walked the lonely streets of New York City. I love the city with all my heart, but I just wish Cameron was here with me.

I finally reached my dad and I's apartment. I opened the front doors to the building and walked to the elevator. I pressed to the button and it opened. I then pressed floor 10. 10 is the top floor of the building. The elevator opened and I walked done to the last door.

I opened my door and saw my dad on the phone. I smiled at him and he blew me a kiss. I giggled and sat on the island in our kitchen. My dad said bye then hung up.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Your brother." He said. I rolled my eyes and pretended to gag.

"Oh shut up." My dad laughed. I giggled and rubbed my stomach.

"How's the baby?" He asked.

"Good. She's healthy as can be." I smiled. He grinned and kissed my head.

"I have a meeting so I will be home at about 8:00 okay?" My dad said and grabbed his coat.

"Okay." I said. He smiled and left. I got up and walked upstairs to my room. I opened the door and walked to my closet. I took my beanie off and pulled my hair into a messy pony tail. I took off my plaid shirt and put on one of Cameron's shirts that I took. I plopped onto the my bed and grabbed my favorite book right now.

My Life Next Door. This book is my life. Its amazing as hell. As I was reading I heard my phone ring next to me. I grabbed it and saw it was Cameron. He was calling me.

"Hello." I said.

"Hey baby how are you?" He asked.

"Okay I guess. You?" I answered.

"I'm great." He said.

"Cool." I said.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I just miss you." I said.

"I miss you too princess." He said. I then heard a knock at the door. I got up and walked downstairs. I opened the door and saw Cameron standing there with black roses. My favorite. I smiled and jumped into his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. I felt his hands on my butt.

"I can't believe your here Dallas." I said and kissed his jawline.

"I missed you so much Greenwood." He said and kissed my lips. I kissed back and smiled. I then heard footsteps behind Cameron.

I saw the one person who could ruin everything.
