The night falls with a silent sigh,
Cold and alone are we,
The gaiety we hunt for,
Is long forgotten, now you see.
As the melancholy sets in,
Does it feel like your world is crashing down?
As the empty in your chest gets bigger,
Do you feel it caving in from all around?
What would you do in such a situation?
Isn't wailing your only option?
Because they have all fled,
"We love you", those who once said.
And sans any succour through this pain,
Does it feel like tonight, you're going to end up dead?
The night falls with a silent sigh,
Cold but not alone is her body.
They're all around her, revealing how they loved her dearly,
But what is the point of that really?
She is oblivious to their sufferings,
Just like they were to hers.
The night falls with a silent sight,
Cold and alone she lays in the grave.
