It's a little after nine, when I wake up and my muscles protest as I climb out of bed carefully so I don't wake up my sleepy girl. 

I let the scalding water run over my sore body and after a few minutes I feel my muscles relax. 

The way my body felt when I woke up this morning, reminds me of how I feel when I push myself at the gym too hard. 

Apparently, I put out a surprising amount of effort having sex.

I can't help the chuckle that escapes my mouth at the thought of it.

"Do I even want to know why you are giggling in the shower all alone Landon?" I hear Faiths amused yet still thick with sleep voice in my small bathroom. 

Her question only makes me laugh harder and when she snatches the shower curtain open, I am full on laughing at the surprised look on her face.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Nothing." I manage while still laughing.

"Tell me now or I'll turn off the hot water and freeze you out."

"Please don't do that, the cold water hurts me." I say after her threat abruptly stops my laughter.

"Oh...I didn't know that. I promise never to do that to you."

"Thank you."

"So...what were you laughing about?" 

I can't help but notice how her eyes travel up and down my naked body, she makes no attempt to hide her wondering eyes and it makes me smile.

I reach up and shut the water off and she hands me my towel.

After I dry my hands and the edge of the tub off, I shuffle my body off my chair and sit on the edge of the tub. 

I finish drying off and toss my towel into the hamper before gathering my crutches and standing up. I can feel Faiths expectant eyes on me as I walk naked to my room and sure enough, when I settle onto the edge of my bed after gathering a pair of clean clothes, she is still staring at me.

"Okay, okay! Stop leering at me already." I joke.

"You're my man, I can leer at you all I want." She jokes right back.

"That's true and I'm just too sexy not to leer at, right?" I chuckle.

"That's right. Now tell me why you were laughing in the shower."

"Now who's demanding?"

"Landon!" She whines and I laugh at her.

"I was laughing because of how sore my body was this morning when I got out of bed."

"Why is that funny?"

"It's not but the reason for it, makes me happy. Usually I am only sore like that after I've spent too much time at the gym. I'd much rather be sore from having sex, than busting my ass at the gym any day. I guess the reason why it's funny is because when I'm at the gym, I know what this movement or that movement is going to make me feel like the next day. When we were having sex yesterday all I could think of was how good it felt."
