"It has to always be the mutt to come to your rescue doesn't it!" Lewis angrily spats.

Angela can feel Tony tense us next to her. She hated when people used the word mutt. Stuck up people used the word for people who were at the school with scholarships. People that weren't in the same social and economical level as the rest.

"Lewis please just leave," she demands.

"This is my garden as much as it is yours," he says taking a seat.

"What you want?" Tony asks.

"Nothing with you mutt. I'm talking with the queen. I'll appreciate if you'll play fetch somewhere else," Lewis says.

"You got some nerve," Tony snarks.

"You gonna hit me again?" Lewis asks.

The garden doors swing open and Jesse appears. He's quickly by her side ignoring Lewis presence.

"Maggie told me there was a situation," Jesse says.

"That's why I'm here," Tony says.

"She said she asked for your help," Jesse says.

"Yeah I ran into her and told me what was going on," Tony says.

"I don't like it when even the stupid court ignore my presence," Lewis says standing up.

"Jesse is my court, not yours so careful how you address him," she warns.

"You may be the queen but after this year you're gone. I'm the king next year. I'll make sure things change around here. Starting with the mutts. They'll need to learn their place," Lewis says.

Angela stares in shock as Jesse punched Lewis right on the jaw. Jesse never been the one to get physical. He had learned from her to be more on the strategic side of things. Impulsive responses where stupid and always meant trouble.

"Anthony is our King. Respect your superior!" Jesse demands.

Angela drops onto one of the chairs. Tony is a split second pulls Jesse back making Lewis miss his punch. Tony throws a hook landing on his rib. Another punch and it send him to the ground.

"I thought the call with your sweet father would have straighten you," Angela states.

"Bitch!" Lewis snarls pushing himself off the ground.

"Did he just take away the car again? It must be nice since you got another from mommy dearest," she snarks.

"Stay out of my life!" He screams.

"Then stay away from mine," she demands, "I don't want you even six feet from me."

"This is the last warning to stay away from her," Tony says.

"King Lewis please understand that this has all been your fault. Retreat and stay away from all our Queens," Jesse states.

The gates swings open and Maggie appears. She quickly goes to her side.

"Are you alright?" She asks.

"I'm fine," Angela reassured her.

Lewis storms off out of the garden. She knew that this was just a battle. He was fixated onto her for some insane reason. She really attracted creeps. As long as he left Diane alone she was fine.

"Angela?" Maggie says timidly.

"Don't worry," Angela states.

"But Lewis.." Maggie says.

"I'm fine ," she hits Tony's chest with the back of her hand, "Tony intervened."

"Thank you man," Jesse says sincerely.

"No problem," Anthony answers timidly.

"Now let's get ready for the party," Angela says trying to lighten the mood.

"Are you sure we should still throw it?" Jesse asks.

"We are going to show him that we are no cowards. Plus everything is already planned. We can't let it go to waste," Angela states.

"Okay I'll let Diane know," Maggie says taking off.

"Jesse can you give me a minute," Angela asks.

"Yeah," Jesse answers walking away.

Silence falls around them. She feels awkward because of her burst yesterday. It's been in the back of her mind all day.

"I could not just do nothing," Tony says breaking the silence, "no need to tell me anything."

"Thank you for helping me," she says sincerely.

"No need," Tony says, " I should get going."

Angela takes a hold of his arm. Her heart was racing knowing she's making a mistake being the one to close the gap. The words repeat in her mind but they don't escape.

"Are you joining us at the party later?" She asks timidly.

"That's not really my scene,"he states moving his arm away.

"Right," She mumbles.

"I don't want to cause you anymore stress," he states taking a step away.

"Yeah," she softly says.

She watches him leave the garden and gates close behind him. She lets out a loud sob not caring if anyone heard. The pain in her chest is just too unbearable to keep.

"Sorry," she mumbles to herself, "sorry."
