Next day at the chaotic school. Rumors of her slapping Wendy had now spread. She is feeling worse than before. As her stomach is now not accepting food without it returning it.
Angela had talked with Wendy after school and let her do her own thing. Taking a break trying to get Diane to wake up. Things had escalated so it would be a while before it quiet down.
When she had finished Mr. Harris lesson she had enough of class. She made her way to the garden. She swallows another pill as she laid her head on the back of the chair.
She stays there waiting for the headache and stomach to settle. She tries distracting herself with studying or music but she can feel herself getting worse. She debates taking another one as maybe the first hasn't taken affect.
The garden's gate swings open. Her sight goes to Lewis. He has a wide smirk on his face as he approaches her.
"I knew I'll find you here," he says stopping beside her.
"What you want?" She groans.
"Since when are you acquainted with Anthony?" He asks.
"He's the king. Everyone knows him and he knows everyone," Angela states frowning.
"Let me rephrase. Since when is he your play toy?" He asks leaning in.
"What are you talking about?" Angela asks confused.
"Don't deny it. You two are secretly together," Lewis says.
Angela gets up from her seat. She faces him directly. Keeping one hand on the table for balance and support.
"I don't have to explain my personal relations with you," Angela states.
Lewis takes a tight hold of her arm. She tries to get his grip off but loses balance in the process. She ends up falling to the ground. Lewis kneels in front of her.
"There's something off about you lately," he states.
"I told you to not touch me," Angela spats.
Lewis doesn't listen as he takes a tight hold of her arm and pulls her to her feet. Wraps an arm around her waist and pulls her closely to his own body. She tries to push away but he's being overly forceful.
"Let me go!" She demands.
"Come on my queen. I'm much better than that ridiculous boy," Lewis say licking his lips.
Shivers travel through her body as disgust comes over her. Creep. She always attracts creeps.
"What's wrong with you. Let me go before..."
"Before what? Huh? It's still class period. No one is around here. I won't do anything you don't already want," Lewis says planting a kiss.
Angela tries her best to separate but gets nowhere. Suddenly Lewis's body is prided away from her. In the process she ends up on the ground once again. Anthony's body stands over hers with his back to her. She can feel the atmosphere overly tense.
"Look who it is. Our precious king," Lewis snarls.
"I told you to stay away from her," Tony says taking a step forward.
Angela gets off the ground quickest she can. She looses balance and slams her hands on the table for support. The boys quickly stare at her.
"Keep your filthy hands off me," she demands.
Angela can feel tears appear in her eyes. This is too overwhelming. Anthony puts himself in between her and Lewis.
Lewis's laughs echoes through the garden. Anthony just stands there looking at her. She knows he has no experience dealing with Lewis. She can feel her heart to race. Taking deep breath she wipes her eyes. She can not be weak in front of them. Not now not ever.
Lewis continuous laughter makes her blood boil. Her anger was on top high and her patience was gone. Angrily she takes out her phone dialing quickly as possible.
"Yeah," said the confused voice.
"Send our kind Lewis's father. The photo of his son at the last few parties. Make sure he's only recognized," Angela smirks.
"Don't you dare!" Lewis says lunges for the phone.
Anthony intervenes quickly pushes him back forcefully making him land on his back.
"Got it."
"Thank you," she says hanging up.
"You bitch!" Lewis says getting off the ground.
"You have no right to come near me. Do it again and I'll make sure you never come to this school again," she states.
Lewis phone quickly goes off and his eyes widen. A wide smirk appears on her.
"Don't ever touch me again," she coldly states.
Lewis storms off quickly slamming the gate door on his way out. Angela can feel Anthony's eyes on her.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"Fine," she says, "I'm heading home."
Angela starts to grabs her stuff. Anthony's hand lands on top of her and she instinctively pulls back in shock.
"Maybe you need to calm down a bit," Anthony questions.
"I don't want to be here. I won't stay here," she states.
Angela didn't want to finished the day. It's been too much for one day already. She is out of it and just needs to get herself to relax. She digs into her bag and takes a pill. Forgetting for a second Anthony's presence still there.
"What was that?!" Anthony exclaims.
Angela is in shock for a second. Her minds has fogged over. She was having a hard time focusing.
"I'm not feeling good," she states quietly.
"I see that," Anthony says getting closer, " but what did you just take?"
Angela looks down at her hand. The aspirin bottle still there she shows him the label.
"I got a headache," she says putting it back in her bag.
"Can I have one then?" Anthony remarks.
Angela stares at him not knowing how to respond. She has been careless around him. In general she's slacking and need to buckle down.
"So?" Anthony pushes.
"I'm going home," Angela walks away.
Angela head to her car dodging students. It was in between periods, students were making their way to class. She sees her car ahead when she hears her name being called. She recognises that voice clearly.
She walks faster towards her car. Throwing her stuff onto the passenger seat. She turns on the ignition. Anthony appears in her rearview mirror. Could she ever be left alone? She quickly puts the car in drive with her music pounding.
