"Diane how's the party planning going?" Angela asks.
It's lunch time and she's only with Maggie and Diane. She had asked Jesse to let everyone else know they were to be left alone. She was in no mood to deal with anyone else. Her mind is still tormenting her for her words towards Anthony earlier.
A smile spreads on Diane's face. Angela takes a seat across from her looking at her notebook. Diane loves planning parties for the group. She writes all her ideas down so no little detail escapes her. She can hear the joy in her voice as she explains the plan to her. Her handwriting is impeccable and organized. She can clearly see every detail Diane has been putting in.
"What you girls talking about?" Lewis voice booms over the peaceful environment.
Angela stares at Lewis angrily. Why the hell did he want? Her sight goes to Diane who is crumbling already under his stare. Why could she not get a break already. It seems to be one thing after another with her.
"About tonight's party." Maggie answers.
"Lewis could you please leave us to talk?" Angela asks nicely trying to keep things civil.
"I just came to get my girl," Lewis says putting his hands on Diane's shoulders.
"Lewis please I won't asks again," Angela says getting up from her seat.
"Or what? You going to send your pet rat to attack me again?" Lewis asks.
Confusion and anger takes over her.
"When have I sent someone to attack you," she asks.
"That mutt of yours," Lewis says, "what's his name?"
Angela knew what he was now playing. Diane's eyes were on her with a questioning look. He's going to try to Diane against her like always.
"Maggie why don't you and Diane go to class," she suggests.
Diane begins to get up with no resistance. Yet, Lewis pushes her down onto the seat. Angela just swallows her own spit watching Lewis. He was going to fight her with Diane as his leverage.
"What you want Lewis?" She asks.
"I want to know why you with that mutt?" He asks.
"Anthony has nothing to do with me," she says angrily.
Angela shoots him an angry stare but only a smirk appears on his face. She realizes she has just given him what he wanted. She rolls her eyes feeling herself get inpatient.
"Clearly you know exactly who I was talking about?" He asks.
Angela keeps her sight on his dangerous eyes. She didn't want to watch Diane get destroyed before her. That's until he begins to digs his fingers into her shoulder. Diane curves in pain and Angela quickly makes her way to them. She tries to pry his fingers off Diane's shoulders.
"Let her go already!" Angela screams.
"Why?!" Lewis yells.
"Lewis please just let us be." Maggie begs.
"Shut up!" Lewis barks.
Angela takes advantage of his slight distraction and grabs his arms. Prying his arm away from one of Diane's shoulder. Lewis hand goes onto her chest and pushes her back. The pain paralyzes her, making her fall onto the ground causing more excruciating pain.
"Angela!" Maggie screams.
Maggie comes to her side trying to help her to get up. But the pain is only increasing and she is only able to sit up. More anger as she sees Lewis with a overpowering smile on his face. She can feel Maggie grip her tighter. The fear in Maggie is clear and she feels the need to get her out of the situation. Lewis hands free Diane from his capture. Diane is quickly on her knees at her side.
"Maggie take Diane to class please," Angela begs wanting the girls to leave.
"But...." Maggie says hesitating.
"Go!" She screams.
"Okay." Maggie says getting on her feet.
Angela watches as Maggie takes Diane away reluctantly. She starts to get off the ground carefully as the gate closes. Her eyes now stay frozen onto Lewis. Guys like him got off on power.
"Can you stop tormenting her already," she says annoyed.
"But it's so much fun," He says taking a step closer to her.
After taking a couple of step back she stands her ground. Lewis is not going to give in that easily. His hand takes a hold of her arm. With his other he punches her stomach. His unexpected reaction makes her mind blank. Her body curves forward landing into his arm. She felt as she had no air in her lungs. She has never thought of her being physically abusive.
"Oh yeah you got hurt. I completely forgot about your little incident," Lewis says landing a pat on her back.
Once again the pain travels through her body. This time making her legs weak. She was still struggling to breathe from the first blow.
"I'll take good care of you don't worry," he states.
Angela can feel the hint of his voice and the nausea hitting her. Tears swell in her eyes but she will not give up without a fight.
