Angela wakes up before Tony. She stays in his embrace not wanting to wake him up. He had stayed with her the entire night watching over her. Soothing her every time a nightmare haunt her. He left her alone with her thoughts all yesterday. She knew she had to tell him something today. She gets closer to him not wanting to think anymore.

Angela mind goes to when they were children. Tony would always try to protect her. Being her personal knight. Playing with his fake sword killing enemies. Holding her hand to cross the street. Doing everything together and having fun. Making everything a game even doing homework. Those where the simple times when they were both still naive.

"Good morning tesoro." Tony greets kissing the top of her head.

"Morning."

"How are you?" Tony asks rubbing her arm lightly.

"Good."

"That good."

"Do you think you'll be okay if I go take a shower."

"Yeah. Don't worry about me."

"Okay I'll be back."

Tony slowly gets off the bed and exits the room. Angela sits up and looks around. She really didn't want to cause Tony any problem but she couldn't go anywhere else. Maggie would ask too many questions and at home her dad was there. At the moment she couldn't face him.

Angela slowly exits the room. She enters the kitchen opening the fridge. She begins to cook some sunny side up eggs and bacon.

"That's smells great," Tony says coming into the room.

"Though you might be hungry."

Tony comes to her side wrapping an arm around her waist. She looks up to him questionly. He had no shirt on wearing only his shorts. He kisses her forehead.

"You should've joined me in the shower," Tony says smirking.

Angela slaps his shoulder angrily. He had to be a guy.

"I got no other clothes."

"Text Maggie to bring you some," Tony says.

"When I finish cooking."

Tony's hand goes over her and takes the spatula away from her hand. She looks at him once again.

"Go on. I finish it from here. Plus you should be resting," Tony states.

"I'm just standing."

"Just allow me to spoil you okay," Tony says nudging her away.

"Okay. I'm going to the bathroom."

Angela walks into the bathroom looking at herself in the mirror. She was disgusted at the mess that looks back. She leans in the tub and washes her tangled hair. She also cleans her face getting rid of the horrid makeup that ran down her face. Satisfied with her clean appearance she exits the bathroom with a towel around her shoulders.

Tony was setting the table and she decides to text maggie. When she finishes she takes a seat across from him.

"So you gonna tell me what happened?" Tony asks.

Her smile completely vanishes. She knew the question was coming yet she wasn't prepared. How was she suppose to answer that. There's a knock at the door and she shoots out of her seat.

"Maggie thank you."

"No problem," Maggie says looking at her.

"Hey Mags," Tony says beside her.

"Hi," Maggie says staring at his bare chest.

"Well excuse us we were in the middle of something," Tony says closing the door.

Angela quickly moves towards the bathroom.

"I'm going to take a shower."

"You're not going to ignore me like that," Tony says.

Angela manages to escape shutting the door behind her.

"Answer me," Tony nudges pushing the door.

"What do you want me to say!"

"The truth!"

She managed to lock the door. She quickly removes her shirt and pants. Turning on the water, the door slams open. She stays frozen, her back towards him. She tenses up as his fingers touch her skin.

"What happened?" He asks turning her to face her.

Angela keeps her sight down. She knew every scar and bruise she was sporting. Tony takes her into his arms and tightly embraces her. This surprises her completely but allows herself to finally give in. Tears escape slowly as his warmth soothes her.

"You should have asked for help. No one can get away with doing this to you."
