Your POV:

It was starting to get dark outside. The stars shined and shimmered and a cold mellow breeze gently blew. I had gotten bored of reading and wanted to go to bed early tonight. I got up from my seat and walked back to my room and flopped onto my bed. I carelessly yawned and immediately fell asleep.

                               * * *

I woke up with a beam of sunlight right in my face. I groaned pulling the blankets over my head to block the light. I tossed and turned, but I couldn't get back to sleep!

Well, I guess I'm up...

I saw Bowser looking off the ship into the distance.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, just can't wait to meet my friends." He sighed in an unexcited voice.

"Are they mad or something?" I curiously asked.

"Nah. Just worried they'll be mad for not coming sooner. I'm so tired of being the only one who works so hard to please everyone else, everyone but me." He sighed.

"You're doing just fine, not everyone has to like you." I comforted.

"It just feels weird, everyone is just  mad at me for some stupid reason." Bowser mumbled.

"Why don't they just leave you alone and get a life?" I replied.

"Exactly what I said." He muttered.

"Don't worry too much, you're on vacation." I warned.

"But you do like me though, right?" Bowser anxiously asked.

"Bye, Bowser." I waved as I walked back to my room.

"Women." He muttered under his breath.

"Heard that." I smiled.

"Whatever. It doesn't matter if you like me or not." Bowser snarled.

I tidied up my bedroom and brushed my somewhat neat hair.
Bowser still stood outside. Alone.

He'll be fine...

I didn't know what got into me, but I walked outside and stood next to him.

"Are sure you're okay?" I asked.

"No. I'm not okay. I don't want to talk about anyone who is dead." He mumbled.

"Aren't you excited to see your friends again?" I asked.

"Meh." He grunted.

It was a long moment of silence until Bowser asked me a few questions.

"What do people think of me in the real world?" He asked.

"You are very popular, I haven't met a person who didn't know who you were. There's lots of fan art, fanfics, fan clubs, and fans." I replied.

"When you came here, did you not expect me to be like this?" He asked.

"No, you're nothing like I thought you would be." I answered.

Bowser gently put his arm around me as we looked off the doom ship.

Bowser's POV:

"You like me, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, you very nice to me, and I care about you." She replied.

"Well, what if I loved you?" She asked.

"I guess I would love you back." I replied.

"But, that would be kinda weird, like I'm a human and you're a reptile dragon thing." She awkwardly laughed.

"There's always beauty and the beast." I smiled.

"But you're not a beast." She laughed.

"Then who am I?" I sarcastically asked.

"Bowser, of course, but it's sad how in stories the villain never finds true love." She sighed.

"Then this story is different." I laughed gently grabbing her pale soft chin.

Y/N blushed as we slowly leaned in and kissed each other.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I do too." She giggled.

Oh my god.... She kissed me and said she loved me!
