That Monday, Sofia and Hugo went to Lady Melody's office to see her.

"Good morning, young royals," Lady Melody smiled. "What brings you here?"

"We came to give you these," Sofia said.

Sofia and Hugo had each made a card to welcome Lady Melody to Royal Prep and to thank her for helping them feel better.

"Aw, thank you, kids," Lady Melody smiled. "I'm really happy I could help."

Lady Melody turned to Hugo and said, "Well, Prince Hugo, you should be getting your cast off this week. I'll schedule your appointment for this Friday afternoon."

"Okay, thanks," Hugo smiled.

That Friday, Sofia was with Hugo and his parents as Lady Melody carefully removed the cast. Once the cast was removed, Hugo's arm was feeling much better.

"Okay, honey, now that your cast is off, you need to do some exercise, so your arm can be as strong as it was before," Lady Melody said.

"Thanks," Hugo smiled.

"Thank you, Lady Melody," King Garrick smiled.

"No problem," Lady Melody said. "I'm always happy to help."

Sofia and Hugo walked aside to have a little talk.

"Well, we shouldn't have worried about seeing Lady Melody two weeks ago," Hugo said.

"Nope, if we hadn't seen her in the first place, you wouldn't have recovered from your injury," Sofia agreed.

Sofia and Hugo wished they knew people judged newcomers before properly getting to know them.

"So good to know you like Lady Melody so much," Garrick smiled.

"Yes, dearies, if you need help, you know who to come to," Lady Melody sneered playfully. Then she let out a wicked witch laugh—and a snort. Sofia, Hugo, and his parents started laughing, and everyone shared a really good belly laugh.

Sofia and Hugo both learnedan important lesson: they needed to properly get to know a newcomer beforedeciding whether they like him/her or not. Everyone at Royal Prep learned how wrong they were to judge Lady Melody before getting to know her. Sofia and Hugo were happy they got to know Lady Melody properly.
