Nick pov
"Nick", Isa says with her eyes desperately searching for an answer on my face. I don't have one. "I don't know" I say frustrated, "we gotta get outta here". I grab her thin hand and we make our way down the corridor until she freezes. "Wait, my friends. They're here with me, I can't just leave them like that", she says. "Just text th-" I begin until I hear a shout. "Hey! Where the hell did you go?!" a girl in a grey dress screams. Isabella whips around and I'm guessing those are her friends. "Nicole! Guys I have to leave with Nick just call the limo driver to pick you guys up, but go through the back. I'll explain later just go" Isa says in a rush. "No, what?! Isa, what the hell is going on? You-" "trust me" Isa says with a smile as she turns around and grabs my hand. We leave them standing there, looking as if they just saw two robbers rob a bank. I call the limo driver and tell him to pick us up at the corner of Yard street. As soon as we draw an end to the corridor, we stop running and I look at Isabella. "Listen, we can't go out the front. There's a back door two hallways down", I tell her. "Wait, how do you know all of this?" She asks. "It's not my first time" I chuckle out. I start to head down the next hallway. "You're sick" she says with a face of disgust. I laugh as I recall every girl I've escaped with. We reach the door and as soon as we go out, flashing lights stun my eyes. "Crap", I say under my breath. "Come over here, cover your face!", I shout to her. I grab her and cover her with my arm. I push through the paparazzi, like I'm back in high school pushing back the defensive line of football players. We reach the end of the sidewalk and I see the limo. I open the door quickly and lead Isabella inside. I follow her and slam the door shut.

I'm kind of scarred from what I've just experienced. "Nick, you need to explain yourself", I squeak out. He looks at me with his puppy dog eyes. I stare out the window, towards the passing buildings. "Well a-after the hot chocolate incident at the rink, I realized what an asshole I was. What an asshole I've always been. I-I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. And I-I don't know why, but somehow I think you'd be good for me". I can see through the reflection on the window that he's looking at me hopefully. I'm torn, all I've heard about him is that he cares only for himself. Should I? Maybe he's one of those guys in the movies that's mentally troubled and then he meets a girl who changes him into the good guy he's always been, just never known on the surface. You're kidding yourself. He can be better. He'll never change. I can make him better. You've been hurt before. I look at him through blurry vision. "Why did you just, suddenly change?! I'm just some girl you've never met", I'm yelling at him "I'm no one!". "You" he answers simply. "You made me change, it was like I took a step out of my own body. I saw my whole life as a timeline and how horrible I've been acting to people. My parents, my friends, even my girlfriend!", he says with tears in his eyes. "I'm not worth it" I reply angrily. His face changes completely. He's no longer worked up, his face calm and collected like a painting. His eyes relax and close, his jaw tightening. "Yes, you are. You are to me" he says shakily. He leans in and his lips hit mine, an asteroid collision. I can feel the heat radiating off of his neck. Our tears mix as our cheeks graze each other. I throw myself over him and give in to him. Completely.

After I tell the paparazzi that Nick would walk out the backdoor, I meet Alex at the next intersection after Yard street. "So, what do you have for me?", he asks with a grin. "A picture. Of Nick and some other skank. I want you to publish it. US, People, Forbes, I don't care. I want it on all the tabloids by tomorrow morning. Alex, this is our chance. This could serve as my breakup with Nick and then we can finally be together publicly", I whisper in his ear. "Will do", he says with a grin as he leans in for a kiss. I pass his lips and whisper directly in his ear. "Babe, not here. Someone will see us. Let's go to your apartment". "Hehe alright", he says with another grin as he grabs my hand. We start walking down the street as the evening breeze sweeps by, stinging my face. The dark clouds cover the white moon like a mask.
