Kind of a short chapter.. Sorry.

As I arrived to the thai restaurant, I requested a seat in the far back corner so I would be alone.
As if on cue right when I sat down, I heard my FaceTime ringtone ringing. Of course, it was Chancelor.
"You never fail to amaze me," I answered cheesing hard.
"You's my baby," he smiled as I took in his appearance.
This nigga, from what I could see on the screen, had on a black button up shirt, a red tie, and a black blazer on looking spiffy.
"You look handsome," I cooed. "You went all out huh?" I asked as he nodded his head.
"I told you this was a date, now let this be a date." he smiled. "Capeesh?" he added.
"Boi," I said.
"So my lady," he started as he sipped some water from a glass. "How are you today?" he asked.
"I'm good, just been having heartburn lately. But I'm good, how are you?"
"Today was so frustrating, but hearing your voice and seeing your face puts me at ease." he told me making me blush hard.
I'm sure my brown ass face was now the color of a stop sign.
"Stoppp it," I cheesed.
"That smile even warms my heart." he continued giving me compliments.
"Thank you,"
"No problem baby, what you gon order besides thai noodles?" He asked.
"I just want Thai noodles and Zucchini." I told him.
"Mhm," he hummed.
"What are you going to have?" I asked him.
"I'm gon sit here and act like this Ramen is Thai noodles," he said seriously causing me to laugh.
My waitress finally found her way to my table taking my order before she scurried to the kitchen.
"Chancelor," I spoke.
"Hmm." he hummed.
"I love you and I appreciate you." I told him truthfully.
"I love and appreciate you too. Are you okay?" He asked as I started crying.
"Yes, I'm just.." I cracked. "E-emotional." I sniffed and wiped my tears away. "I really miss you, I do. I just want you to come home," I said.
"I do too, it's killing me knowing that I'm here and you're there going through this pregnancy alone." he said as he ran his hand down his face. "Just hang in there okay?" he said as I nodded my head.
"Okay," I responded before the waitress bought my food over.
"Mmm, this is so good." I said as I ate some noodles.
"Mine too," Chancelor said as he sprinkled the seasoning over his noodles causing me to laugh.
"What do you want to have?" He asked randomly.
"You know I can find out the gender at my appointment in two weeks? I'm not sure if I wanna find out though without you here."
"No you should find out so you can tell me." He suggested. "I think it's better if we know."
"Okay, I will do so. I think I want a little girl but at the same time I want a little boy. It doesn't really matter. As long as the baby is healthy, I'm gon be happy regardless." I explained.
