Why did I start this book?

Okay I started this book a summer ago when I was a concierge (what Briana's character starts out as)
I used to have the biggest crush on this foreign guy that lived in the building (he's Colombian I think) he actually had a dog like Chance did in this story
His girlfriend (what I assumed) did live on the same floor as him
I honestly didn't know the guy's name and still don't
He used to call me Olivia Pope because I used to watch Scandal all the time. 💀
The first two chapters in this book are pretty much based on real life
Now I was in his apartment before helping with reporting a maintenance issue
We flirted a couple of times but I'd never be serious because he was a grown ass man
I was 19 at the time and he was like 23
He always thought I was older and I don't know why
He was a diplomat or some shit
He left to actually go to India for 2 years
He gave me his number and email to keep in touch but I never used it because that's awkward
We were really cool and would have conversations here and there but nothing too serious
& one day I was like hmmmm cool story idea
Have a one night stand , get pregnant and doesn't know until he's gone for India, he comes back and sees you with a child that's his.
BAM! New story 😂😂😭😭😭
But I didn't follow my original plan clearly 😭💀
But yeah that's how this story came to life
