Chapter 17
Awya's POV
His hands were wrapped firmly around my torso; he was holding me against his body without any space in between our bodies. It felt as if we were floating in the clouds and I looked down to see myself completely naked but for some reason this didn't bother me. I was too caught up in appreciating the perfectly sculpted man in front of me. Although I've seen his face numerous times, every time I looked at him I momentarily lose track of reality. It's like the whole world stops for a while and it's just me and him and nothing else seems to matter at that moment.
Right here in this moment, gazing into his ink black eyes like the midnight, it's as if stars were glistening in them, as if staring into his eyes would take me into a whole new galaxy where only we both exist, lost in space, lost in time. He was mesmerizingly beautiful; every single detail about him was perfect. His sleek purple black locks that framed his face and fell graciously onto his neckline glistened in the light rays. His sharp jawline which was slightly covered in stubble felt like it was razor sharp and his lips were rosy and full as if they were carved in marble. His torso was naked and his lean body was built, I ran both my hands down his sculpted abs and the dips along his v shaped outline running down to his crotch. He belonged in a museum, next to all the other ravishingly beautiful Greek god statues. He was the evil serpent and I was Eve. And he was tempting me to take a bite into the juicy apple that was none other than himself.
"Awya..." He whispered my name, his sultry voice and sweet breath caressing my face. The way he said my name in that husky voice sent tingles across my body. He repeated my name again, this time a little louder, I wanted to but I couldn't respond. Something was holding me back from actually forming words in my mouth but in my mind I was whispering back his name, "Are you seriously not going to wake up?"
I immediately opened my eyes to see Lohan right in front of my face, but his face which seemed perfectly in peace unlike few minutes ago and seemed like it wore a slight smirk but I wasn't sure. "Finally" He moved back away, opening up the view he was blocking this whole time. I came back to my senses and realized that it had all been a dream; I was still at the hospital. I flushed red when it dawned on me that I was having a dream about a half-naked Lohan, and I was fully naked the whole time. I had to fan myself a little bit to get myself together and not let my body give away that I was having a naughty dream. I most definitely did not want Lohan to know about this.
I glanced at Lohan to see whether he caught me blushing and see the sweat formed on my body, but he seemed oblivious, I let out a sigh of relief. He was busy raising my bed up so that I could sit up, once he was done he handed me a handkerchief and without an explanation as to why walked up to the fan and switched it on. He then made his way to the door, "Wipe your drool, Brandon is here to meet you". He turned around to walk away but glanced back at me, his face wasn't showing any emotions, yet I could see a slight smirk form and a mischievous glint in his eyes and then he drawled, "I didn't know you had wet dreams about me..." Next he proceeded to make his way out, leaving me completely dumfounded.
DAMMIT, HOW DID HE KNOW! There was no way he could have known. Is he psychic? I pushed away the ridiculous thought. Oh god why of all times now was I having a wet dream about Lohan! OHMYGOD I had drool on my face, I drooled dreaming about him?! HOLY SH*T. Okay I need to get myself together...I remembered that Lohan said that the lawyer was here. I quickly wiped my mouth and sweat off, I did not want Brandon to have any thoughts either.
A firm knock on the door made me look up to see Brandon standing there in his buzz haircut, dressed in a sharp suit and holding his suit case. He had the usual formal manner in him, he seemed the kind of man to always get down to business and didn't tolerate any bullshit from anyone. He was intimidating when he greeted me and walked towards my bed to take a seat.
"I can see you look better than before. You seem to be recovering just fine."
"Thank you."
"I know this is not the right time Awya but I heard from my client Mr. Newyearn that you have no intention to file charges against Lohan?", like I said straight down to business.
I simply nodded unable to understand where this was leading.
"Well I need to take a written statement from you stating that you will take no legal action against Lohan. So I typed the letter for you since with your current situation it is impossible for you to get to it and I need to submit this within 3 days of the accident. So if you could read and sign down below that will be a great help for both Lohan and me".
He proceeded to pull out a blue file out of his brief case and removed an expensive pen out of his shirt pocket, he then handed me over the opened file with a pen. After a few minutes of skimming the printed document I signed on the dotted lines and handed the file to Brandon. Once the file was safely tucked in Brandon's briefcase he stood up, and said his greetings. At the door he turned back before he left, he was staring at me for a few minutes as if he was contemplating on whether to say something or not, he seemed to decide with the latter, "I don't know what you did for him to lay his eyes on you Awya. But I'm sure of one thing, you of all people don't deserve this."
At first I was shocked a little because Brandon didn't seem like the man to speak such words. I assumed he was talking about the accident so I brushed his sincere words away. It was an accident and Lohan didn't do it with intent. This was an accident and no one had blame upon themselves. Somehow although I wanted to let those words past me, they etched themselves on my mind leaving a lingering thought of uncertainty behind.
