"W-what?" Farkle stuttered.
I pointed at Riley who had the same reaction as Farkle. "Who do you love?"
Riley's eyes widened and she whispered-shouted at me, "My parents are here, can't we talk about this another day?!"
I shook my head firmly and she sighed. "F-Farkle..." Riley said while looking down in embarrassment.
Everybody in the living room froze and looked at her. Farkle faced Riley, his face as red as a tomato. Riley looked up and she was blushing even harder than Farkle! 'Who knew...' I thought to myself.
"Riley...I...I love you too..." Farkle averted his eyes to the floor.
At this moment, Mr.Matthews stepped in front of him. "So, are you still up for that deal?"
"Cory Matthews!" Mrs.Matthews exclaimed.
Mr.Matthews shrugged his shoulders, "It's a good deal, Topanga!"
Everybody cracked up, and both Riley and Farkle relaxed and stopped blushing. "Anytime you want, hambone."
Mr.Matthews and Farkle shook hands, causing everybody to laugh again. I smiled, probably my biggest one in a while, because everything was back to normal.
Suddenly, I remembered the presents. I hurriedly walked over to my pile and started tearing them open.
*Time skip to evening...*
It was time for us to leave. I hugged Riley sadly, even though I would be visiting her again tomorrow. "Bye, peaches!"
"Bye, Riles!"
My mum and Shawn left the apartment first, since he insisted on driving us home.
Lucas and I exchanged looks before we left, and we both had the same idea. He tiptoed behind Farkle and I tiptoed behind Riley. We pushed them together to make them kiss.
They were flustered. Super flustered. When we let them go, they were both avoiding eye-contact. Lucas and I left the apartment.
We reached Shawn's new car to see my mum and him putting the presents in the boot. Before I entered the car, Lucas gave me a peck on my forehead. I smiled and went into the car.
The car started to move and I looked out the window. Lucas was waving at me and I waved back. When he was out of sight, I stopped waving and took a short nap.
'Best Christmas ever.' I thought before I fell asleep.
