Ash's P.O.V.: The Journey to the Capitol

After saying our goodbyes, my sister and I were escorted to the train and we were on our way to the Capitol.

As we stepped in all we could see was very fancy furniture. Well for us a not stained and scratched up chair is fancy.

"Wow," said Sapphire.

"Welcome to your train. You will be staying here up until we reatch the Capitol. And here is your uhh trainer...."

An old weak man walked into this train car .

" This is Areshle Burns... The only living victor of 12 as of now..."

There have only been so far about 2 or 3 victors from 12... This counting Areshle

" Well you too are siblings which can help you and cause both of your deaths." then I turned to Sapphire. .She already had fear on her face.

" Alright well I'll get the avoxes to escort you too your rooms where you may relax until dinner."

A young avox boy showed me my room.

As I got in all I really felt like doing was changing into something more comfortable and watch our reapings, so I did.

As usual The careers all volunteered but one thing that stood out was district 2. I've seen boy carries volunteer first before but the girl that went after him, weak and definitely of the poor people in 2, she looked so scared. I didn't understand her at all. Then there was 3... That was by far the most odd pair ever, a strong boy and a weak blind (most likely color blind) girl.

Nothing else caught my eye until the first underdog district, 10. A 13 year-old girl and a 12 year-old boy! I felt more sorry for them then me and Sapphire. Then came 11... Man is that girl so BEAUTIFUL . I would give anything for us to AT LEAST be friends, hopefully more than that..Even if I have to ..... have to kill her... and my own sister.....

I was snapped out of that when I was called for dinner.

Me and my sister just stuffed our mouths.

" Have you no manners!?!?" said the blueberry. We looked at one another and said no and continued eating.

I got back to my room and dozed off.
