Lyna first person POV

I woke up and scratched my head. I almost forgot where I was for a second. I looked around and saw Kana in the bed across the room from me. She was knocked out. I guess her training exhausted her. I wondered what time it was so I went over to her side of the room where there was a pink digital clock sitting on her nightstand. "One in the afternoon!? I practically slept all day!" I thought to myself as I walked into our our bathroom that was connected to the room.

"Wow this place is almost as nice as Kana's house." I murmured as I looked around. Everything in there was black. From the toilet bowl to the shower curtains, even the sink's countertop. I took a shower and headed to the main room.

When I got to the there, the couches and chairs were all pushed against the walls and a man sat in the middle of the floor. He had an average sized body but he was really buff. He wore a gold and black metal chest plate with a cloth thing that crossed the middle of his chest
and met an amulet with a black rock in it. He also wore some black tight pants and a big matching belt . What really threw me off is that, sitting on top of his brunette hair, was a gold crown with three black diamonds.

His eyes popped open and he looked directly at me.

"Leave. Now!" He commanded as the floor shook violently. His eyes were pitch black. The whole thing. Literally something from a scary movie. "Um. This is the  team room. You can't just-" I was cut off when Lynx came in and grabbed my arm and pulled me into the hallway. "You do not want to intrude on King's meditation." He said, laughing a little.

"I'm not afraid of that guy. I've taken down guys bigger than that." "I wouldn't doubt it but he's really strong and his powers are insane. You should just come train with us until he's done." "Fine. Lead the way." I said as I follow him down the hall.

We came into this wide open, bright white room with nothing in it. Seriously, there wasn't even a table.

Rae and Kai stood glaring at each other. Kai wasn't wearing his ugly ass jean outfit this time. He was wearing a grey Gi with a black belt around his waist. His arms are covered with tattoos and for once he didn't have a hood on. He had long dreads that were tied up into a bun. Rae wore a different, all black body suit with a light blue dragon design on the front. They were breathing heavily as if they just finished fighting each other.

When I approached them, their seriousness turned into curiosity. "You suck Kai. I bet Lyna could beat you easily." Rae said with a smirk. "Yeah right. I already took her and her peppy sister out easily." "Yeah but I know you used your little water powers though. I bet you can't beat her in a hand to hand duel."

I broke their little petty argument. "Let's see then. First I'll beat Kai's ass, then you're next pretty boy." "We'll see about that." Kai said.

Kai position his footing and I balled my firsts. Rae shouted "Go." and the duel began.

Kai didn't hold back one bit, swinging his arms at me as I swiftly dodged every blow. I jumped and did a roundhouse kick but he ducked. I regained my footing and tried punching him in the chest. He turned sideways, dodging my punch. I quickly swept his leg and he fell to the ground. He launched off of his back and hop back up, this time swinging faster. He swung desperately at me but he still moved too slow. I grabbed his arm and twisted it, then kneed him in the face. He fell to the ground holding his nose.

"You were saying?" I teased. "Fine you got me." He said as he got up and stood against the wall.
"Next!" I said, looking Rae up and down. "Wanna use weapons?" "Uh. Sure." I replied.
