Third person POV

Rae and Cailean circled each other. Rae's chest dripped with blood as he held the deep wound, trying to remain alive. Rae could very well be close to death but he refuses to go down easily.

"You seem a bit tired. Care for a glass of water?" Cailean taunted in his British accent.

"Tired? What no... I could run a couple miles." Rae panted.

Cailean snickered. "Don't die just yet. I need you alive just a little bit longer."

"Didn't plan on it." Rae said then ran an accelerated rate, using the wind to push him faster.

He got close to Cailean and tried attacking him with a combination of low and high kicks but failed to land each one due to Cailean's amazing reflexes. Cailean ducked and bent out of the way, then caught Rae's leg and threw him high into the air. Rae caught himself and bounced off of the wall back into the air and kicked a large gust of wind towards Cailean.

This time Cailean didn't move, instead his eye's flashed white and the ground around him became icy. When the wind reached him, instead of knocking him down, it swirled around him and formed a blizzard-like aura with thick shards of ice flying around his body. He extended his arm and the shards flew towards Rae.

Rae attempted to dodge the ice, leaping to the floor and hopping from the walls. But due to his injuries, he wasn't fast enough. One large shard pierced his thigh, causing his leg to freeze and become stiff. Rae fell to the floor and gritted his teeth.

"Why don't you just kill me!?" Rae screamed.

"Would love to, but I need you alive for just a bit longer. So for now, go to sleep!" He said as he jumped above Rae's and dropped his elbow on his head, knocking him out.

After calmly climbing dozens of flights of stairs, Mercury finally made it to a door. He opened it and walked inside to find Zaria standing proudly in the middle of what look like a cafeteria that wasn't in use.

She took off her Amazonian helmet and threw it to the ground revealing her wild, thick, curly black hair and beautiful light skin.

"Ian... I hoped it wouldn't come down to this. I would have thought you would have gotten over this... phase!"

"You sound just like her... Stop pretending you know my life..." Mercury rolled his eyes.

Your mother was a good person. I've seen her try to teach you the honorable ways to live. Too bad you chose the wrong path." She said as she clenched her fist.

"You think you know every little thing about me. You think my mom was just an amazing person-"

"I looked up to Acier! I envied her love compassion for you! She cared about your more than anything! I've never gotten anything close to that amount of  tenderness, and now you dishonor her name by assaulting her team along with the same group of fools that murdered her!"
