Lynx POV.

I need to tell her.

"Lyna we need to talk." I said.

"Sure, what's wrong Lynx?"

I noticed Rae giving me these eyes that begged me not to say anything, so I stalled.

"Oh... I meant me and Rae need to talk... in private."

"Oh okay, I'll give you boys some space." Lyna said and walked out.

As soon as she left, things got intense.

"What the hell were you thinking back there!"

"I told you it was a one time thing! I don't like you, I was just trying to see what it was like."

"Well if you haven't noticed I have a boyfriend and he saw us! He hasn't answered any of my calls or texts! He probably hates me!"

"Look, I'm sorry. What can I do to help."

"Just... Stay away from us." I said and walked away:

Rae was being really weird. I didn't like it at all. I wanted to tell Lyna really badly but I knew it would just start more drama and she would kill him... Literally. Rae and I could settle this and nobody would have to know. So I just went into my room and tried calling Marvin but I still got no answer. I was at my last resort. I had to go to his house.

Tolen looked up his records and told me that he still lives in the same place.  I haven't been there in so long that I almost didn't recognize the place. I knocked on the door and waited. I saw him peek through the blinds, then he got silent.

"Come on Marvin I see you in the window." I sighed.

He cracked the door open and looked at me with a straight face.

"What?"  He said dryly.

"We need to talk."

"Where's your boyfriend." He squinted.

"I'm looking at him." I smiled.

He was not amused.

"That's not what it looked like last night!" He yelled.

"Let's not make a scene. Please just let me in so I can explain."

He thought for a minute then finally let me in.

"Mrs. Olsen home?" I asked. As I walked in. Noticing bottles of liquor on the table.

"Mom moved out and left the house for me." He said as he picked the bottle up and took it into the kitchen.

He came back and sat across from me but didn't look at me all.

"Marvin, I love you-"

"Then why'd you kiss him!" He interrupted and stared deep into my eyes. His eyes were glossy from him holding back tears.

"He kissed me!-"

"But you let him. You had every chance to push him off of you but you didn't."

"I was in shock okay! I didn't expect him to kiss me. He just did it. Trust me I hated it just as much as you hated watching it. Me and him have been arguing all day."
